Overall we had a very nice stay. It takes some driving skills to get up the steep road to the house. But the view is marvelous. And the house is very spacious, with nice big sliding doors. Also the garden is nice. Interiour is very complete, nice couch. Only minuses: the rather hard matras on the bed (too hard for us) and the moist that quickly builds up inside when you don't have the doors open during the day (the house is partly build inside the mountain). There is no mechanical ventilation. But otherwise we really had a great time there.

Well located in the south west of the island.An apartment with pleasant outdoor space and excellent views. Good sized rooms. All equipment necessary for self catering. There is an apartment above so there can be some noise from children running around but this didn’t bother us. Good sized parking areas at the top of a steep street. Difficult to find street at first as it looks like an entrance to another hous. We would happily book again.

Arco da Calheta is easy to reach, the express route connection is very convenient. Remember, once off the express routes Madeira has steep roads, it takes some getting used to.
Arco itself is quiet, not the main touristy area so great to relax and enjoy the view.
