Apartment Lucy is located in a quiet location, Only 15 minutes drive to Calheta Beach, shops, restaurants and supermarket, 30 minutes from Funchal and 40 minutes from the airport.
It is ideally located for touring the island, with easy access to the North and its fabulous landscapes via Ribeira Brava. Porto Moniz and its natural swimming pools in the East are only 35 minutes away. Big game fishing ,dolphin and whale watching from the Calheta Marina.
The terrace of the house offers a fabulous panoramic and unobstructed view of the ocean. A true paradise where you get a views of the ocean and mountains.
There are 2 (Madalena do Mar and Achada) of the more than 200 trails criss-crossing the island’s basalt rock masses, taking hikers into a rare natural world. Along these irrigation channels you will come across species of fauna and flora found hardly anywhere else in the world, in Madeira’s traditional Laurissilva Forest, which has been declared a World Natural Heritage Site.
Nearby you can find small markets, restaurants and bars were you can taste the famous Poncha of Madeira.
Depending on the time you visit us you can assist to religious celebrations or various events on the island, like Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Carnival, Flower Party...

Clean, attractive apartment, with wonderful terrace and view of ocean and mountains. Lucy, downstairs was wonderful to us, driving us to get groceries, etc. and bringing us warm bread and fruit...we enjoyed her friendly dogs too.

A very pleasant stay in October 2024 for one week. Very clean residence with all requried amenities and check-in was well exectuted. A bit noisy with considerable truck traffic. Would stay here again and reocmmended for a short stay. The views were truly exceptional.

Queda en el segundo piso y la calle pico arriba, pero tiene una buena vista. Muy buena para una familia con máximo 3 hijos.
