The Bronson Barn is located on the grounds behind the home that was originally owned by H.V. Bronson who initially plotted the town of Peninsula. Nestled in the heart of the park, it is walking distance to restaurants, shopping, train depot and bike rental. The national park has hundreds of miles of hiking trails, biking trails, river walks or kayaking, amazing waterfalls, and nature walks to see wildlife. You can also enjoy the ski resort located a few miles away for any winter sports!

Great place to stay. Access to towpath, coffee shop, restaurants, grab and go food a short distance away. Host easy to communicate with and apartment was roomy and comfortable.

Rich was a wonderful host! The care and attention put into this property is evident immediately. You can tell it’s been thoughtfully designed, and you can sense the warmth the moment you walk in. Everything was clean, comfortable, and little details didn’t go unnoticed. Rich was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Rich was a wonderful host for my wedding party members - the property is walking distance to trails, shops, cafes, and restaurants. The yard is private, charming, and includes wonderful views of the ravines and woods around Peninsula. The property’s clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. Rich himself is a communicative, responsive, and professional host that made all of us feel very welcome. I would STRONGLY recommend the barn for anyone staying around CVNP.

We had a fantastic stay at this renovated barn! The setting by the river is incredibly serene, and the home was perfectly clean, welcoming and exactly as reflected in the pictures/description. Very pet accommodating and the yard was large and nicely maintained for our dogs quick evening’s walk. It was the ideal home base for exploring the park only a few houses down from a coffee shop, local restaurant and farmers market and only 10-15min from some upscale options if that’s what you’re looking for.
