Find all the space you need to gather with loved ones, take in the gorgeous Vermont scenery, and truly relax and unwind at this country home in Dorset, beautifully situated with a view of the surrounding mountains and meadows.
This two-story home sits just over a mile from small-town Dorset, five miles north of Manchester, and around the corner from the local farmers market. It's a wonderful location for outdoor excursions, with Emerald Lake State Park (nine miles), Bromley Mountain Ski Resort (11 miles), and Stratton Mountain Resort (20 miles) all close by.
Spend summer mornings hiking and mountain biking, and afternoons taking advantage of the home's lovely outdoor spaces. There's an expansive yard with a play structure for the kids, a gas grill for family barbecues, and a large deck with ample seating where you can admire the illuminated mountains at sunset.
As you step through the door, you'll be greeted by a spacious interior where large windows frame the mountain landscape. The rooms are bright and comfortable, including a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an adjoining dining room, and a living room with a smart TV mounted above the fireplace. In the evening hours, retreat upstairs to the billiard room or catch up on email at the desks in the kitchen, the primary suite, and one of the upstairs bedrooms.
Two of the bedrooms - including the expansive primary suite - are on the main floor, alongside a room with a changing table and a rocking chair for the littlest members of the family. Three guest rooms await upstairs. A private washer/dryer is provided for your convenience as well.

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This company doesn’t let you speak to the property owners and they don’t either. I had a question about whether there were fans in the house and they couldn’t tell me.
I wanted a late check out, you can’t know that until the day you check in! Which makes it hard to plan.
We entered the home and it was dirty. There was so much hair on the master bedroom floor! Gross
All the floors had a considerable amount of debris on them.
I am hoping to be refunded for part of my cost as compensation. They offered to have someone come and clean, but that is intrusive. As. Stated, I was spending 30 minutes on the phone sending photos and talking with person.
Not likely I will use this company again.

This is a great house for a family in a stunning location. The yard is great- lots off space and even a fun swing set. There is a great patio as well. The inside had a big open kitchen with a large family table. A lovely master suite downstairs and plenty of rooms upstairs.
My one concern was that at least one of the rooms had not been made up with clean sheets and the house did not seem to have been vacuumed.
But the kitchen and bathrooms were clean with fresh towels and amenities.

Surrounded by beautiful lawns with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Big, well appointed kitchen. Fresh towels and bedding and comfy beds. Large, quiet masterbedroom suite. This is a great house to stay in when traveling with kids~ nice play structure on lawn and big play room with pool table.
