Located on Keawakapu Beach, one of Maui's best swimming and snorkeling beaches, with unobstructed ocean views to the outer islands and beyond, this third-floor condo sets a spectacular tone for your ultimate Maui beach adventure. One of only two condo properties on locals-favorite Keawakapu Beach, Hale Hui Kai 313 is an air-conditioned, tastefully renovated oasis positioned a one-minute beach stroll from one of the most vibrant snorkeling reefs on Maui's south shore.
At first glance, the tasteful tropical decor may seem just that - but look closer, and you'll find authentic treasures lifted from Maui's past. Original paintings from iconic Maui artist Rik Fitch, a vintage utility pot rescued from the old Lahaina Sugar Plantation repurposed as lanai décor, a hand-made ukulele from Honolulu fashioned around the opening of a coconut shell, a bench salvaged from a reno at the ocean front Wailea Point, and an array of now-rare Koa pieces are among the pieces lovingly collected and displayed by the unit's owner, a rare original owner.
The view never gets old from the oversized beach-front lanai, which offers up views of Molokini Crater and Kahoolawe Island. There is also a refreshing fresh water pool a few feet from the beach.
The unit offers every essential to create your Maui memories. Prepare your island feast in the well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with all the accoutrements and small appliances you will need. If you are a beach bum like us this is the place for you. We brought our own bedding as we are picky and prefer down pillows and comforters. Wish there was AC in the living room. Family vibes and residents at the condo. When someone smokes you can smell it in your unit if the doors are open. This isn't the fault of the host. Lots of tiny ants in the bathroom but this is also common in Hawaii. Odd though no ants in the kitchen just the bathrooms. Our code didn't work at check in but they fixed it in 5 min. Very helpful and very clear communication. Can't wait to return.

Our stay was fantastic! Our Vrbo was our home away from home. We had what we needed to relax and have fun! It was clean and a short walk to the beach which was great for lounging, playing in the water and snorkeling close to shore. For a beginner it was fantastic! The room provided beach chairs, an umbrella, towels and pool noodles. We made use of the kitchen cooking our own meals while the AC kept us cool. It was nice surprise to share donuts and coffee with others in the rotunda with others that was provided by the condo. It would be nicer if a restaurant was within walking distance but that's not the fault of the owner.
