Welcome to Livin' The Dream, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This beautiful home was built in 2021 in the perfect location just outside of Fish Creek on 5 Acres. Minutes away from shopping, restaurants, and entertainment yet return home to solitude in the woods. It's also close to Peninsula State Park which offers hiking, biking, kayaking, and outstanding panoramic views of Green Bay. There is also Peninsula Golf course nearby. This home is centrally located in Door County, easy access to surrounding towns. Enjoy your time away here and come relax in solitude!
The main level has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area to enjoy your meals. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to accommodate 6 guests, a living room on the main and lower level with smart TV, and a walk out porch area for outdoor dining and an in-ground fire pit. Come enjoy your next Door County trip and relax in the solitude of Livin' The Dream!

About the Owners:
I have been coming to Door County as long as I can remember. My family has history in the Door County area dating back to the 1850's being some of the original settlers in the area and historic buildings that have been preserved to share this history. Over the years, I shared Door County with my wife and children to continue the tradition and enjoy all the area has to offer. We are a military family and decided to build a place we could consider "home" after all of our moves across the United States. Door County was the perfect location to create our retirement home and be able to share it with others that could enjoy it as much as we do. Please come and relax in our home and enjoy the solitude and all the area has to offer! We are always looking to serve you and welcome any feedback to make your experience more enjoyable and hope you return to make memories here with your friends and family year after year!

This home is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings.

This was our second year staying here. Upon check-in,the VRBO appeared clean. While enjoying the patio/porch, a main reason for rebooking, there was quite a few wasps. One of the guests is allergic to bee stings, so i promptly contacted management. In the mean time, we went into town to pick up Raid to spray, and did. We were on a wine trolling for the majority of the next day and were told that a guy would be stopping while we were gone. Things came up and he would be late. Then a car pulls up and a young lady gets out with a can of Raid. She sprayed, like we did, however that did not take care of the problem. We were told, the guy would be back. Again the girl/lady showed up with a friend in the car, another bottle of Raid. Sprayed again, knocked down 23, yes 23 hives with a stick from the fire pit and somehow burned them. How is it possible to have THAT many hives unoticed? Our overall feeling was miscommunication to handle quite a serious problem. In addition, the first night as we were getting ready for bed, on the top bunk downstairs, there was a hair and what appears to be a wood chip?? - This guest slept on a blanket, she brought, on top of the sheets. Then on Tuesday, as we were making dips in the kitchen, there was no cutting board to be found. Our overall impression of the supplies left, was that there should be more...limited coffee cups, no measuring cups, cutting board...we love this place, but after this stay, not sure about next year.
