Welcome to Bluebell Cottage - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.
This cottage has been partially refurbished including new corner sofa (with bed), new dining furniture, replacement carpets, replacement radiators, new patio furniture, new soft furnishings, new blinds, high speed internet and new beds to both bedrooms.
Enter into the airy hallway with storage for all your essentials and access to the downstairs cloak / WC.
Walk through into the large open plan L shaped lounge with corner sofa (and bed), SMART TV, dining room (sits 4) and fully fitted kitchen (refreshed in late 2025) including dishwasher, washer/dryer etc.
Upstairs the property comprises of 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead rainfall shower.
If you want bedding for the sofa bed you must request this as a chargeable extra at checkout.
Off the lounge area are French doors open onto a private furnished patio, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds.
Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).
We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

Cottage was great inside but the outside let it down a bit
The furniture outside was very dirty and unusable, which was a shame as we were there on a lovely weekend and it would have been nice to be able to sit outside with a glass of wine. Also the small aree of grass belonging to the cottage needed cutting
Inside , it has everything you could possibly need. Is spacious, clean and tidy

Bluebell Cottage was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped and very airy and light. Beds were very comfortable. The beach wasn't as accessible as we'd hoped for and down a long and steep path. I couldn't manage the walk due to my age and a knee problem.
Management kept us well informed throughout the whole process via text and email and Anthony was very helpful and friendly on phone calls.

We've just returned home from our second stay at The Bay. As usual, we did not want to leave. Bluebell Cottage is wonderfully welcoming and has all you need for your break away. We love taking advantage of the 4 for 3 nights offer. It just means your get to enjoy your stay for longer. We will be back. Thank you
