Menehune Shores #621 is a beautiful unit with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi. There is a California king bed, a television, a ceiling fan, and a split system air-conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms. The en suite bathroom is equipped with a shower/tub combo, the second bathroom has a walk-in show The second bedroom provides two twin beds, and a ceiling fan. The living room is also cooled by split system air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. A queen sofa sleeper supplies extra sleeping space. There is a television so you can catch up on the local news or your favorite shows. For your outdoor adventures, you will find beach chairs, and beach towels. Menehune Shores #621 sleeps 6.

Menehune Shores is conveniently located on the main beach road with easy access to some of the island’s best beaches, shopping in South Kihei or Kahului, and scenic drives to Lahaina /Kaanapali. This property is uniquely situated adjacent to the historically important 16th century Alii (Royal) Fish Pond of Kalepolepo. Protected by offshore reefs, the pond provides safe swimming for children and those wishing to avoid heavy surf. Additionally, there is a solar-heated swimming pool with barbecue grills on both the ground level and on top of the roof. The rooftop also offers some of the best views on this side of the island. There is a full bar & Indian restaurant on 1st floor/ATM for your convenience.

This was a great location, right on the beach. We arrived just after the heavy rains this spring, so the beach waters were not super clean and the exterior of the property received some damage (not their fault!). The room however was just as pictured, right on the beach, great kitchen, plenty of items for cooking, easy parking. I liked the fun decor. The place smelled a bit damp when we arrived (again, probably from the rains) but this improved when we turned on the A/c. The unit does need some updates -- the master bathtub/shower did not look great, the master bedroom closet also needed some TLC, and one of the bedroom window screens was broken. The washer and dryer weren't working, but we'd been notified of this ahead of time. However, all that said, it was a fine place to stay and the other people in the building were quiet and friendly. Great view from the roof!

The two bedroom we stayed in was in a great location on the beach, amazing views from the rooms and balcony. The kitchen was stocked with anything you needed, they provided very nice beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie board, sand toys, some snorkel gear and a cooler to use at the beach, which was a huge win because we did not have to purchase that stuff. The rental did its job, we are not super picky about where we stay but this unit could use an update to the bathrooms, because of the outdated older state of the condo the bathroom showers were not as clean as I had hoped. The sliding door screen had holes that bugs could get in and fly around at night and the screen itself was broken and hard to slide. In all though it’s in a great location, for the right price and for our family it worked great for us. It’s Maui...it’s all about the outdoors for us, so we enjoyed our stay.

The unit is nice and well outfitted. It could use a more comfortable couch a rug on the cold tile floor in the living room. The view of the bay is wonderful from the lanai! Too bad we had a storm blow in for most of the week.

The location was great. There were beach chairs, an umbrella, towels and a cooler for beach days. That was very useful. Condo is older and could use some updates. The master bedroom A/C makes awful noise all night and there are bugs everywhere in the unit. We couldn’t even cut the lights hardly inside the unit at night without a ton of bugs gathering on the ceiling above.
