The crisp, colorful décor is just right for a cozy spot by the beach. Whether you are getting away with that special someone or taking the family on a summer getaway, you have found a true gem.
Located just inside the Beachwalk Resort, across the street from the beach, Honeysuckle Cottage is what memories are made of. Look out the kitchen window at the view of the lake as you brew your morning coffee. Relax on the patio and listen to the sounds of the waves, and sleep like never before in the King loft bedroom or the brand-new Queen sleeper sofa. It truly is a one-of-a-kind experience.
As you enter you will head up the stairs to the main level of Honeysuckle Cottage. The bright open studio style living space is newly furnished. The kitchen is fully stocked with more kitchen gadgets than you can imagine. Come ready to cook up your family's summer favorite, or plan to BBQ on the grill. The living room is perfectly relaxing with a pull-out sofa for extra sleeping space. This floor also features a full bath and dining room space. Don't let a rainy day spoil your stay, enjoy a competitive game on the Wifi that the whole family can enjoy. Up a few more stairs you will find a large loft with a plush King bed to your left and to the right your will find 2 Twin Foam chairs that convert to a bed.
Leave your worries at home and relax your cares away at Honeysuckle Cottage while the beach spoils you on the outside and the cozy quarters spoil you on the inside.
You are welcome to park anywhere along the side of your neighboring rental property, Reunion Guest. Please do not park in front of Honeysuckle garage at any time. All additional cars may be parked in the overflow lot.
Please no smoking or pets, maximum occupancy is 4. Hot tub is for owner use only. Please note during the summer season, golf cart rentals are not permitted at this home.
Sand toys and laughter are always welcome!

4ft heated pool*, toddler pool*, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard*, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding* and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

Great location. Easy walk to beach. Easy access to community amenities. Enjoyed the pool, ping pong, snack shop, kayaking on the lake. Rented bikes and rode to Washington Park Lighthouse and beach. Drove up to St Joe and South Haven for shops on rainy day. Property was very comfortable. Lots of steps - might be challenging for those with mobility issues, especially since bathroom is not on same level as bedroom. Well stocked kitchen and very nice bathtub. Quiet neighborhood and pleasant experience overall.

Is the property nice looking and nice, yes. Do you have a view of the lake from the kitchen like the ad stated, not at all. There was nothing easy about unloading/loading the car. Very awkward location. Wifi worked 50% of the time, which wouldnt be a big deal besides I have a toddler that is much more entertained with wifi. The owners of the place did try really hard to fix that for us and honestly I feel like it's the location as phone service was horrible there as well. Communication isn't great as it took me a good 15 minutes to figure out where to check in and only figured it out when I walked into a rental thinking it was where I checked in and they lead me where I needed to go. The lake/beach is beautiful but a haul to get there and back. Overall, I just don't think Michigan City is what it's hyped up to be by some.
