About this apartment rental

Location, Location, Location... just steps from one of the best beaches on Lake Michigan. Why fly to Florida for a great beach vacation? From Indianapolis, it's only 150 miles to the sandy beach path; from Chicago, it's only 60 miles! We are minutes from the Blue Chip Casino, Washington Park Zoo and Marina, Lighthouse Outlet Mall, Mount Baldy Sand Dune, and much, much, more! Come see for yourself all that Michigan City has to offer.

We have three large bedrooms in a comfortable unit. The kids can have their own space in a room with twin bunk beds, a TV with classic videos, and a game closet. Bedroom 1- Queen, Bedroom 2- twin bunk, and 1 full bed, Bedroom 3- 2 Queen beds. Beach towels, chairs, and toys are waiting for you.

Jill and Brad were fantastic. We really enjoyed our conversations with them. The home was clean, neat, and packed with beach toys neatly stored in the basement. The appliances are in good condition and newer. The neighborhood was quiet even at the height of the season.I would spruce up the entry and deck area. Meaning to touch up the deck stain. Eventually, install blacktop or pavers for the parking area in the front. The location has easy beach access. We would stay again! Thank you

This property hosted my family of 6 plus my parents for a quick 3 night trip. Everything was as described and more. The building consists of 3 units, we stayed in #2 and it fit our needs perfectly. There is a gas stove and a 4-5 step access into this unit. We had a wonderful time with its close access to the beach and restaurants. We hope to be repeat customers.

We had fun family time at the beach. The outside seating area and grill were perfect for our family. Short walk to the beach with beach gear and towels supplied. I was able to get in a couple hours early which was a bonus.

The rooms were super clean when we checked in! We were also also able to get into the property a bit earlier than the check in time which was awesome! Also communication with Jill was awesome she would respond quick, and was making sure we were enjoying our time and if we needed anything. This is our 2nd year booking this property and it was amazing again. We love the close walk to the beach it was less than 5 mins to get there which was awesome!! We loved our vacation again!! There is also a washer and dryer which is wonderful since we had a lot of clothes and swim suits to wash since we stayed here for a week. The kitchen is also pretty stocked up if you need plates, glasses, pans, and anything else you might need. There’s also a patio table and chairs if you want to sit outside. We just love love this place!!

Our family group rented the main level and upstairs unit. Very convenient for us all. We loved all of the beach essentials provided in the basement. Just about everything we needed. Grill worked great. Very clean- this made us feel very comfortable

Jill's place is WONDERFUL! Location can't be beat. She has everything you need for your stay, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys for every child. You just need to bring your clothes and get ready to enjoy the most wonderful time in Michigan City. The kitchen is also supplied with all you need. Washer and dryer is so nice to wash everything up after being at the beach. The place is roomy, nobody on top of each other. Stay here and you will not be dissatisfied .❤️

This home was amazing!! Communication with the owner was easy and fast response. Home was clean and had everything for the beach. The walk to the beach was so close and easily a accessible due to the blue walking path. Hands down best place to rent for a beach weekend. Looking forward to rent again!!

When we got to the apartment it was so clean and spacious, everything you needed was available if you didn’t bring it. We had the top unit and we could see the lake from there it also had a balcony with chairs to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors. It was also less than a 5 min walk to the beach which was wonderful. Jill was also so helpful when we had any questions. Will definitely book again!

My family loved our stay here-it is literally a 5 minute walk from the beach. There are so many beach toys, towels and chairs to choose from in the basement. The unit we stayed in (upstairs) is even bigger than the photos showed. My two small children, husband, myself and mother all lived comfortably. It is very kid friendly and has a gorgeous patio. Jill was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be staying again!

Everything was provided for, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, living room that we could watch the Olympics at night, and a hose to wash our feet when we return from the beach. What was scary it was I didn’t know that there was people living downstairs, using the shower and the washer dryer!!

We stayed upstairs and the rooms were big, clean and well kept. The balcony was nice and there was plenty of parking. The location was amazing! 1/2 block to the left or right and there is a path to the beach. The communication process was seamless and clear! Steps from the beach is right. We walked up the path every single day. Twice. The house was spotless and big enough for the five of us - plus Jill and Brad we’re giving a day between each guest for COVID. We all felt very safe here. A washer and drier in the basement was a HUGE plus for us too! Will stay again!

Our family struggled between choosing staycation at our home in Chicago and going out of town for couple days due to the current health crisis. We made a decision to rent the property as it seemed like a safer option since it has access to the beach, in the past we stayed in hotels. The reality exceeded our expectations. The home is clean and lovely, fully stocked so there is no need to run to the store for some kitchen utensils and steps from a beautiful beach where social distancing was easy to practice. We felt safe, which allowed us to trully relax .

We had a great time spending the week in this unit for a week. Two adults and 4 kids under 6 and this space was perfect. Only about a block walk to beach access. Very large bedrooms. Everything we needed to cook was there. Great variety of beach and water toys onsite. Nice shaded outdoor space. Easy communication with owner. Would recommend and would stay again. Thanks Jill!!

The location was perfect. It was a short walk to the beach where we had beautiful weather! They truly had anything you could possibly need. My kids loved to pick out a different beach toy each day from the huge basement stash! We took a daily walk to the pier, park, and splash pad. My kids' favorite room was the bunk bed room where they watched many of the DVDs stored there. Perfect family location!

My husband and our two kids and our friends and their two kids just returned from a wonderful mini vacation in Michigan City. This rental is absolutely perfect! We stayed on the main level and even with 4 adults and 4 kids there still seemed to be ample room to rest and relax. This place was nice, very clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen had every utensil imaginable, plenty of dishes and lots of pots and pans. There is a washer and dryer in the basement for which we were grateful to be able to wash our beach towels and swimsuits before making the drive home. If we weren't on the beach or eating, we could find our kiddos in the basement having a blast playing ping-pong. Don't worry about packing beach equipment because they have you covered... there are extra beach towels, life jackets, tons of beach toys and rafts and beach chairs, and even a couple of kayaks. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and we all feel it was definitely too short! My family and I don't vacation very often but we are hoping to make this trip again in the future. I communicated with the owner mostly by email and she was such a huge help, answering all my questions and even gave lots of suggestions. Jill, thank you so much for sharing your place with us! I think it's a gem and look forward to staying again sometime!
