Step inside and feel instantly at ease. The main bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, while the second offers built-in sailor-style twin bunks perfect for kids or extra guests. A small pop-up sofa in the living room provides an additional spot for one smaller guest/child. The cottage's compact kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed for easy meals, while the outdoor spaces steal the show.
Spend your days on the private patio, swaying in the sunset swing chairs or sipping wine beside the propane fire table as the sky turns gold over the bay. Take the private stairs down to the sand, or gather around for a casual barbecue as seagulls call in the distance.
Castaway Cottage is adjacent to the main home but enjoys its own space and privacy. For multi-generational families or group getaways, both properties may be rented together, sleeping up to 12.

It was a wonderful few days. The house is nice, cozy, and small, with a very great few of the sunset. (People from the beach were envious of the location of those swing-chairs!!!) The space in the house is very well-organized, nice, and clean. All you need is a very handy present in the right spots. Personally, it was a little bit too hot in the small bedroom without some sort of small fan, but the weather was very hot too.

The property was lovely and ideal for a quick weekend out of town. While the location offers sleeping for 5, it would be rather challenging for more than 2, unless the rest of your party had children, as the room with the bunkbed is essentially an extended closet.
The proximity to the private beach was lovely. The rental house itself is a guesthouse for another house, that of which is also rented out. Not an issue per se, but the reservation is far less secluded than the listing lets on. If you’re coming here for a true place to simply sleep after days at the beach, this isn’t as much of an issue.
The source for disappointment, however, stems from the communication and treatment of management staff to us during our stay. Tara was very communicative leading up to our trip by providing guides and helpful reminders. However, during our stay due to a miscommunication from the team in parking, we were rudely awoken in the early hours of the morning to pounding on our door. We were verbally berated by an unnamed individual (of which, we’re not sure if this was Tara or another team member - they failed to properly present themselves) threatening to kick us out of the reservation due to parking in the wrong spot. This individual claimed to have called us multiple times and reach out to us before showing up unannounced. We swiftly moved our allotted car to a neutral spot and checked for missed calls or messages from Tara. We received n
