Perfect for all seasons, our lakefront cottage on Shawano Lake offers the ideal setting for summer fun, cozy winter escapes, and everything in between. Located on the south side of Shawano Lake, this modern, comfortable cottage features a private dock, flat walk-out access to the water, and amenities designed for families, couples, fishing trips, girls’ weekends, and year-round relaxation.
Enjoy jet-skiing and swimming in the summer, snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter, and breathtaking sunset views every evening. With grocery stores, restaurants, breweries, golf courses, ATV/snowmobile trails, shops, and casinos just minutes away, convenience meets tranquility at this warm and welcoming retreat.

Everything we needed was there. Clean, supplied well and Host support was more than expected and most appreciated. Love the gas stove. This was such a peaceful, restful and beautiful lake views. Would love to stay here again, prior to the cold and wind we had this time. The stairs are a bit steep for short people like me to climb so it was nice to have bed provisions on the lower floor. Heating system worked wonderfully (once we figured out the way to close the heating vents to balance the upstairs to the downstairs. Shower doors are heavy and hard to move but we managed. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back! Thank you Kyle and Jenny you are the best hosts ever!P.S. fireplace in the room on the right only worked the first day and then stopped for some reason; never could figure it out. Minor breakage by one of my family the small vase holding the cute sunflower - let me know what I can do to repay it.

Wonderful home. Has all you need for a great time at the lake. I even made to requests and asked for advice and the owner’s responsed immediately. Great Experience all around. Not many homes can accommodate a family. This one is fantastic!

This was our second stay at the Sunset Escape. It is so peaceful and relaxing with a great sunset view. We love that we can rent a boat and tie it up on the dock. It has everything you need and is close to all Shawano has to offer. Communication with Kyle and Jenny is clear and fast.
