Crooked Lake Escape

We had a perfect visit at your beautiful property. Everything was wonderful and peaceful.

Stay booked for staff working on a local project. They enjoyed it! Very helpful management!

Nice property on a nice lake.

We had difficulty right from the beginning when booking the location as the host we extremely difficult to communicate with so I should have known. When we got there, the code to get in worked but the handle to the door was locked so we were unable to get in. Luckily after searching around the property, we found a door unlocked. We tried contacting the person (property manager) that the host recommended reaching out but they wouldn’t respond for days. The cabin was very dusty/dirty with dead bugs everywhere and layers of dust on the floor, under the couches and beds with garbage underneath them all from previous occupants. There is only one bathroom and the drain wouldn’t drain properly, nor could we plug it to give the kids a bath. We were told there were paddle boards but couldn’t find them so contacted the manager to which we had to wait a couple of days to get them. They were out of dishwasher detergent of which we requested and had to wait a couple days only to get the wrong thing so we just ended up buying our own. Overall, the location was great, the water was beautiful but unfortunately not a super clean location nor a great/responsive host.
