Our cottage was the perfect getaway in every way. First trip to Door Co, so wanted a central, convenient home base. Location was perfect. Walkable to restaurants and shops but set back, so felt very private and peaceful. Next door to a yummy frozen custard shop and the entrance to Peninsula State Park! It was a priority to have separate sleeping areas and a gathering spot for the family to be together. Our 2 bedroom cottage was small, but clean and comfortable, which worked for us. The grounds were very well kept, with Fish Creek running behind an added bonus. Patio had ample seating, umbrellas for shade, grill, and extended the space for our family. Great, responsive communication and very friendly staff!
Some of the basics weren't provided. We flew in, and arrived after stores had closed so didn't have some of the essentials the first night. There was coffee & filters, but no sugar & creamer. Bar soap and dish soap, but no shampoo. Not a huge deal, just a small blip for one morning.
