The Space:
Step into the cozy living space and you'll find a gas fireplace, a comfortable living room with Smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen and first floor laundry. Outside the community pool invites you to take a refreshing dip or lounge under the sun, creating lasting memories with loved ones. Plus, The Retreat's prime location puts you within walking distance to downtown as well as Peninsula State Park for biking, hiking, and exploring nature's beauty.
This location is also great for groups-- we offer Birch Grove Cottage and Yellow Birch Cottage at the same location.

- 2 minute drive to 2 public boat launches

- 5 minute walk to downtown Fish Creek shops and restaurants

-Location is near Hwy 42/ Egg Harbor Road, which typically experiences higher traffic volume during the peak tourist season.
-Condo is in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties or other rowdy gatherings.

The Sunshine Creek was so convenient to walk to shops and restaurants. It had everything we needed. The property management company was very responsive. We would highly recommend this place as it was central to exploring Door County.

Pros: Location, overall clean, good water pressure, well working AC, appreciated washer and dryer, well stocked kitchen with coffee. Cons: Odd musty smell, very stained carpeting in one of the bedrooms, not enough hand soap in bathrooms, not enough soap/shampoo/conditioner since they only provided two kits for four people over three days, no curtains in rooms with very strong sunlight even with blinds closed. Lastly, we wanted to extend our star by one day and they proposed very expensive rate (over 100 more versus another place with same size/location/amenities) with additional fees. We just ended up moving locations for the last day. A bummer, but this is owned by an LLC so they probably have less flexible policies and fee schedules.
