Built in the 1930's this exceptionally well maintained home has it's own private access with stairs to the Necanicum River. Bring your own canoe or Kayak (we do not provide canoes or kayaks) and enjoy a day paddling on the peaceful river and then enjoy the view of the Estuary wild life and a peak of the Ocean off in the distance from the yard. There is also a charcoal grill and lawn furniture for relaxing.
The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware to prepare meals for up to 12 guests and clean up is a breeze with a dishwasher and garbage disposal.
The downstairs bathroom has a beautiful jetted bathtub.
Brand new 55" smart tv in the living room added 5/1/22
1st bedroom on the main floor is very large, has a queen Canopy bed with a private slider to the deck and a flat screen tv with a dvd player. no cable has a sofa for sitting and a portable convertible twin bed. An amazing view of the Estuary, small free standing gas fireplace.
2nd bedroom on the second floor has a Nautical theme Queen adjustable bed and a set bunk beds. The Queen bed has a view of the ocean and full view of the river
3rd bedroom Known as the lavender bedroom has a Queen and the Twin adjustable bed. Has a gorgeous peak view of the ocean at a distance and beautiful view of the river.
4th Bedroom is the Master bedroom. It has purposely been left with it's old world charm and blessed with a few new world upgrades, such as a new sink and shower for 2 with 2 shower heads. This is a very large room and has ample room for a pack n play or a portable crib.
Parking for 4 vehicles must be parked nose to tail in a straight line

Large space with nice views. Noticed first day home has no ac. Floors were dirty. Hole in ceiling upstairs with mold. House overall smelled musty. I slept in the downstairs bedroom and froze every night. House served our purpose but was nothing to write home about.

For our large group it had enough space for everyone to move around, large kitchen, and we used the fire pit every night. Met our needs perfectly.

The house size is large. The floors are uneven due to the age of home. Back fenced in area has loose netting that can easily be pushed by a dog or kid. The furniture pieces are old and some do not make sense of their purpose. Parking is perfect for two vehicles unless someone is at the cottage next door, you are backing up onto the main road. No aluminum foil or handy Ziploc bags. An assortment of odds and ends in the kitchen. Dishware isn't matching. There's a huge assortment even in the bedroom there's dishware on the shelves for storage. Curtains would be appreciated in the living room. Not all TVs are smart TVs as indicated. This house needs a makeover.
