The place is on safe street very close to the tourist attractions in Madrid. Has a lot of restauraunts in the vicinity.
I would say the street is silent with not a lot of vehicular or foot traffic. However given that the apartment opens literally on the street be aware that you will hear folks talk while walking past until quite late night. Also some amount street light seeps though into the apartment. Note that this wasnt a concern for us though.

Location location location! It's as close as you can be to the action. Everything was walkable. Quite a bit of noise at night. But we were so tired, we slept through it.The only thing that I would note, there is a musty smell when you first walk in the unit. The towels smelled musty too. It's a good thing I bought my own towel. But overall, I'd stay there again.

The host was a gentleman, the accommodations were clean and convenient to the area were interested in. The palace was mere feet away. We felt safe and secure. Thank you for the experience!
