Nestled just two blocks from Oak Street Beach, this charming 2-story Cape Cod-style home offers a perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and beachside beauty. With a large front porch that invites you to unwind, you'll feel at ease the moment you arrive.
Inside the Home:
Step into the open-concept main floor, featuring a fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room, and a large dining area perfect for family meals. The kitchen comes equipped with all the essentials—pots, pans, dishes, and utensils—while the handmade dining table comfortably seats 7. Additional seating is available at the kitchen counter.
A sliding patio door off the kitchen opens to a gorgeous screened-in porch with two ceiling fans, perfect for dining alfresco or simply relaxing. In the cooler months, gather around the wood-burning fireplace in the living room for cozy evenings spent playing games or working on puzzles.

This home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests:
Bedroom 1: Main level, King Bed
Bedroom 2: Second level, Queen Bed + Twin Bed

Outdoor Space:
The backyard is your own private retreat, with shade from two towering pine trees perfect for daytime relaxation or yard games. After a day at the beach, enjoy the fire pit in the evening while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Ample parking is available in the driveway, and additional street parking is available in front of the house.
Location:
Only a two-block walk to Oak Street Beach, you can spend your days sunbathing, swimming, or strolling along the pier to the lighthouse. The vibrant downtown South Haven is filled with specialty shops, local eateries, and wineries, offering endless options for relaxation and adventure.
Amenities:
Beach Gear: 10 folding beach chairs/bag chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, beach toys (shovels, buckets, etc.)
Water Activities: Kayak, paddle, life jacket
Convenience: Collapsible wagon for beach gear, 1 adult bike, 2 children's bikes

This house was lovely. We had a great time. The upstairs can be a bit warmer just due to the age of the home but the host had LOTS of fans which moved the air and made it quite comfortable. We appreciated the proximity to the beach and the lovely screened porch and plenty of parking! It is right next door to pickleball courts so note that. You will hear it along with your morning coffee on the porch. I would definitely stay at this property again. It was clean and the master bedroom was very comfortable (and on the main floor!). I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay and the home was beautiful and fit our needs so well. The extra space in the porch was amazing and the garage full of beach gear was such a bonus! The beds were super comfortable and the overall space was great! We were short on towels but the team dropped some off the next morning. A couple little cleanliness issues were communicated to the management but nothing that impeded our stay. We loved the location of this house as well…walking distance to Oak beach which is great for a quick sunset watch but this beach is too small for the families that are staying in the homes nearby. We opted to walk to the next beach over for more space. Overall, this home offered everything we needed and enough space for 5 adults and 2 children. We made some sweet Michigan summer memories!

Lovely, spacious house in a beautiful, quiet area with all the amenities of home. Enough room for our family of ten with comfortable beds and pillows. The fire pit in back added a special touch. The beach and town are walkable. Only a few blocks away. My wife & I could not have picked a better place to spend our 25th anniversary.

The house itself was nice, clean, well-maintained and in a great location within walking distance of the lake. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the heating system was broken during our visit and would not turn on. With temperatures dropping to 45F, the house became cold, making it harder to enjoy our time indoors.We contacted the host immediately about the issue. While they responded, they were unwilling to come and fix the furnace during our stay. Instead, they dropped off a single space heater for my elderly mother’s room but provided nothing for my children or the rest of the house. This was completely inadequate and a major disappointment, especially given that reliable heating is a basic expectation for any rental.Because of this, our stay was less enjoyable than it should have been. I recommend confirming with the host that the heating system is fully functional before booking, especially during cooler months.
