About this apartment rental
Our 1 bedroom apartment is the top half of a house on the outskirts of the village Couze, between Bergerac and Sarlat, and is an ideal starting point for exploring the Dordogne Valley. We are 25 mins from Bergerac Airport and near the bastide villages of Lalinde, Beaumont and Issigeac.
In the apartment the living room has 2 settees, pine furniture, a large plasma TV and a wood burning fire and leads out to an enclosed patio with barbecue, seating bench, table and chairs. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with large fridge/freezer, electric oven, 4 gas hobs, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, Tassimo coffeemaker and everything from a wok to a raclette. A water filtration system has been installed so bottled water doesn't need to be bought! French doors lead out to a balcony where you can sit and look down over the terrace and pool area or at the surrounding countryside. The balcony has a spiral staircase leading down to this area. The pool, which is private and for the guests' use only, is 8m×4m, there are 2 sunbeds with mattresses, 2 other sunbeds, table and chairs, outdoor seating furniture and a second barbecue. Everything you need for an enjoyable holiday!
The bedroom has a double bed, 1 wardrobe, 1 chest of drawers and overlooks the terrace, pool and rose garden. The bathroom has 2 handbasins, toilet, Italian shower, hairdryer and washing machine. The apartment is 80 squared metres, is tastefully decorated throughout and is very comfortable.There is plently of parking in front of the house and wifi is available too. The double bed will be made up for our guests and towels/tea towels are also included.

The perfect gitte for a relaxing stay. The gitte and pool were clean and well maintained. The pool was private, surrounded by greenery with cicadas croaking in the heat. The owners have thought of everything, the gitte was well equipped and spacious. The owners are on hand if needed and are lovely and friendly but at the same time provide you with privacy. We couldn't fault this wonderful find.
The village of Couze St Front has a couple of boulengeries supplying delicious breads and patisseries (not good for the figure!) and there are several restaurants nearby. The area has lots to see and explore.

Stayed at Rosemary and Michels apartment. Everything was excellent from the property to the hosts. Beautiful area quiet with a few bars, restaurants mini mart and boulanger. We couldn't have asked for better. Gareth and Brenda

The sign of a good holiday is not wanting to leave and fantasising about surreptitious and ingenious ways of staying there. We loved every minute of our time at the apartment and are already looking at our schedule for next year as we plan to return if work rotas allow. Rosemary and Michel are lovely people and re genuine and down to earth. Our apartment was just what we had hoped for. There were plenty of outside spaces for eating outside and relaxing. The pool is superbly maintained as are the rustic gardens. We had access to all the equipment we needed for cooking etc and we were comfortable throughout our stay. We didn’t want to leave and wish this little place could remain our secret, alas though, we wish Rosemary and Michel all the very best so we are sharing our thoughts with you.
