Landelijke Gîte met Ruime Omheinde Tuin

Our spacious 4-5 person gîte is located in the south of the beautiful Dordogne,
France, adjacent to our 220-year-old farmhouse. It’s the perfect spot, because there’s so much to see and do here!
Hiking, biking, visiting the many local markets (such as the
famous Sunday market in Issegeac), beautiful villages and towns like
Bergerac, Monpazier, Sarlat, Beaumont, and Périgueux, museums, wineries,
kayaking in the spring or summer, enchanting caves, a water park, and
an aquarium, a tree-top adventure course… and the list goes on.

The gîte features a spacious kitchen, a dining room, and a living room; a beautiful private bathroom; and two bedrooms, each with a 160x200 bed. In one of the bedrooms, the bed can also be separated into two 80x200 beds. there is a single-person sofa bed, and a travel crib for a baby is provided. There is also a large fenced-in garden. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the private above-ground pool. Surrounded by countryside and forests, yet you’re just a 10-minute drive from the terrace in Beaumont-du-Périgord, where you can buy fresh bread from the best local bakery.

You can set out on various hikes and bike rides directly from the cottage. At dusk, you’ll often spot roe deer, and if you’re lucky, even a red deer!

In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast outdoors in the French morning sun with a view
of the hills and fields surrounding the farm. Of course, with a
fresh egg from our own chickens.
