The Villa del Rimedio offers a suggestive and at the same time comfortable setting. The ideal structure to relax and be immersed in the sweet Tuscan countryside at the same time. The right place to reach the main destinations of landscape, historical and artistic interest of the region, such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena ... '. THE VILLA dates back to the mid-eighteenth century, and has 4 bedrooms with 7 beds in total; there are also two large kitchen rooms, dining room, lounge, a study, 3 bathrooms and a large adjacent lawn. All the rooms, in addition to being bright, spacious and welcoming, are decorated with beautiful frescoes, equipped with original period furniture and have paintings and books. Four fireplaces finally restore the flavor of times gone by. The kitchen has everything needed for preparing meals and overlooks the garden directly, where there is an ideal gazebo for summer dinners

A unique holiday house for lovers of authenticity and nature. The house is in the style of the 1870's with wallpapering , wall paintings and furniture. The kitchen and bathrooms look old fashioned but do not lack comfort. The way the house has been renovated deserves admiration. It looks museumlike, and it is a pleasure to stay there for some time. The ample garden offers rest, also because the house is somewhat isolated (although not far from a little village). Communication with he owners was easy. No problems whatever occurred. Firenze can be reached by train (station in Basso San Miniato). Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay in Fucecchio (even if a swimming pool was lacking).

A traditional Tuscan farmhouse in a beautiful private setting yet close to Lucca and Pisa and a reasonable drive to Florence.
If you like quirky this is the place for you.

If I you want to experience the beautiful old world charm of Tuscany, this is it! The Villa brings you back in time, but has all of the basic modern conveniences. Giovanni was very helpful and provided instructions, restaurant recommendations and local shopping and local history.

We enjoy our time in this historical home. Quiet setting with lots of trees. We were not informed prior to arriving that you could not drink the water and the home had not been aired out.
