L'Àguila is a landmark of Modernism in Palma. Designed by the renowned architect Gaspar Bennàssar, it is opening its doors for the first time as a tourist accommodation. The interior has been completely renovated while preserving its distinctive iron structure, which creates the flowing, wave-like shapes on its façade—photographed by almost everyone who visits the island.
The route through the key monuments of this cultural movement—led by Gaudí, who lends his name to one of our suites—would not be complete without a stop at this building, considered part of Palma’s historical heritage. Since summer 2018, visitors to the island have had the unique opportunity to stay here.
Its abundant natural light, high ceilings, and beautiful design make L'Àguila a truly unique place to stay in the heart of Palma’s old town. From here, you can stroll through the charming streets of the city center, visit the Cathedral, go shopping, or enjoy a traditional ensaimada.
The ÀGUILA SUITES GAUDÍ apartment has been fully renovated, with all furniture and appliances brand new. It is located on the second floor of the building, accessible by elevator.
The apartment features an open-plan, minimalist layout, filled with natural light and decorated with exquisite taste. It includes:
A double bedroom with TV and wardrobe
A living-dining area with a double sofa bed, TV, dining table, and chairs
A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for your stay, including Nespresso machine, oven-microwave, ceramic hob, kettle, dishwasher, toaster, and more
A bathroom with walk-in shower, hairdryer, and washing machine
You will also find an iron and ironing board, bed linens, bath towels, and Wi-Fi.
The property is located in Plaza del Marqués de Palmer, right next to Plaza Mayor—one of the most commercial areas in Palma. You’ll find all kinds of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby, along with live music, street performers, and a lively atmosphere during the day that becomes მშვიდ and शांत at night.
Plaza España is just a few minutes away, offering bus and train connections to all parts of the island, including the famous Sóller Railway.
The popular Mercat de l’Olivar is just a 5-minute walk away, where you can buy a wide variety of top-quality products. All essential services are within easy reach: supermarkets (2 minutes), bars and restaurants, pharmacies, opticians, and more. In less than 5 minutes, you can visit Plaza de Cort (City Hall) or reach the Cathedral, among many other attractions Palma de Mallorca has to offer.

Lovely modern apartment located on the vibrant restaurant and shopping strip of Placa de Major.

We enjoyed being able to walk to many of the attractions in Palma from this apartment. It is right next to Can Forteza Rey so there is a constant parade of tourists walking by. It can be very noisy with tourists, late night garbage trucks, and construction next door, but you can’t beat the location.
