The breezy House – 5 minute stroll to the beach.

We like staying at different properties for our annual Galveston getaway. This was our first experience with Indian Beach and we look forward to returning to this area. The beach was very private, easy access from the property we stayed at, and clean. This property did not disappoint. It was spacious, clean, and a great location from the beach. We rented a golf cart, which made getting to and from the beach a lot easier. It’s a nice neighborhood to drive around in the evenings as well. Beautiful sunset you can enjoy in the back of Indian Beach neighborhood. Kitchen had the bare basics. Absolutely loved having blackout curtains! Host/owner was very attentive and responded quickly to questions. We would very much be interested in staying here again.

Our recent mini-vacation at The Breezy House was the first time our family has ever rented on VRBO and we were extremely happy with our accommodations. The beds were super comfortable, the living area was spacious for all, and the location was perfect. Everyone was satisfied. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The house was the perfect amount of space for 7. The location could not be beat. The place is in need of a deep clean and beware of bugs. The outside space has so much potential, but the furniture and area was too dirty and unmaintained to enjoy.

When we arrived the downstairs patio was completely destroyed. Seat cushions and chairs were all over the place soaked and muddy from the rain from the day before. There is no swing hammock like stated in description. The patio furniture is old and couldnt be used all weekend. Grill is not usable. Had to cook on the fire pit which is also rusted and worn. Walked up stairs to upper desk the patio cushions are ripped and torn. Outdoor furniture upstairs is just as bad and downstairs. The Desk and outside view is in need of some TLC. Walked into laundry room there were dirty sheets in washer that had not been washed and wet towels in dryer. Upon inspection of dryer found out it was broken and didn’t dry the towels from previous guest before us. Contacted host and he said there was nothing he could do before we left. So we went 3 days without a washer/dryer. Was not happy about this because that’s the main thing I look for in a beach house. Also downstairs lights outside under porch didn’t work all weekend either. The bright side of our trip was inside was decorated nicely, living room is very spacious and beds were comfortable. If you plan on cooking bring baking sheets and hot pads none in kitchen had to go buy stuff to cook with. Pots and pans are mix/matched. Not well stocked. Overall we made the best of our vacation. Short walk to beach.
