My husband had an allergy attack almost immediately upon entering into the property. It had a weird smell. We stayed for about 30 minutes. Walked around. Touched nothing and still my husband‘s allergies started to kick in. So we left, all of us. Also, the backyard of the house has a view of a RV/trailer park. It wasn’t very pretty. I spoke with the person managing the property, she’s gonna have a check for mold. We’ll see what happens with that…

It was perfect! Clean! Marisol was great to communicate with both prior to our stay as well as during the stay. I had 8 seniors (the oldest was 95) and the elevator was perfect. We will be back for sure

The house exceeded all of our needs for 5 couples. The place was extremely clean, and felt like home for a weekend. The BBQ was the best pit I’ve had at a VRBO, it was a large pit with a smoker on one end which made grilling steaks and hamburgers easy for 10 people. It rained a majority of our stay, and if I had one small complaint, it would be lack of cover getting from downstairs to upstairs in the rain. But I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Clean. Only 4 partial rolls of toilet paper for a place that sleeps 17. When we called for a few rolls of toilet paper, we were told they only provide starter paper although there were combination lock cabinets with paper. Very poor customer service. We were texted a few hours later after we had to make the trip for more. Something needs to be done with the stairs. The handrail does not go all the way to the bottom of the staircase and the last step blends with the flooring below. We had 2 elderly people fall on the last steps and one is currently in the hospital with a fractured hip. Also, we took the garbage out to find that 3 of the 4 cans were already full including building materialsr they

This property appears very beautiful in the ad. And it is stunning when you drive up to it however it's not on the beach not as close to the beach as it states either. There were so many issues a. The oven didn't work was broken. B. The cook stop was cracked and every time it got hot the child lock would engage and shut it off. C. Wanted to showers barely trickled. D. There were molded baked potatoes on the grill gross! E. The washing machine was very rusty and left rust on the towels from the home as well as our clothes! F. Half of the light bulbs were out we had to keep moving light bulbs to be able to see wherever we were set up. G. No dish towels, no dish sponge, barely enough towels and washcloths for people to use it's supposed to be set up for 17 people with 11 towels total? G. The breaker and the main dining area and living area kept flipping leaving us in the dark. H. There was mold in one of the showers. I. The child's playground toy in the back was broken where the kids climb up and was a potential hazard for kids, thank goodness we were all adults. J. You nearly need to be a mechanical engineer to operate the elevator, as if every door The elevator is stuck on whatever floor. K. Cleanliness was not observed there as there was long black hair in the master bath tub and shower. L. Three half rolls of toilet paper for four baths. And a half roll if that of paper towels. Contacting the owner was pretty much useless she wanted to give us a small credit even though we

We had a quick weekend stay. The house is truly awesome. The elevator is a complete life savor with my elderly parents. I wish we could of spent more time there. The communication was excellent. They answered all of our questions promptly The only thing that I found a bit odd were the door looks. I took a little while to get it figured out, but besides that the property is beautiful, the upper decks and views are awesome. I would definitely do it again.

The property was great. We stayed at this property in 2022. It was refreshed inside and out very nicely. No one has any complaints. The kitchen was great, and the bedrooms were comfortable. I personally could have used a few more pans but it was well supplied.

We decided to rent a home this year that would fit our entire family. New traditions. Check in was supposed to be at 4pm. Well I was excited when the owner called around 10am and told me the house was ready and we could have early check in. The house is beautiful. The decor is nice with hardwood floors and tiled bathrooms. The master bedroom is fantastic, everyone wanted to bathe in that shower. The other bedrooms were just as described in the VRBO app. They were large enough for several people to stay. The elevator was a great help. It was sensitive. The only downside which the owner did explain was the oven and stove. They were a little bit outdated. I called about the stove and she guided me on how to use it. Everything was great and we had a wonderful time. I hope to do this again, probably in the summer!

This is a beautiful property that sits in a safe, quiet, clean neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston. The home is spacious, well stocked with linen and kitchen tools/dishes. The A/C is cold and the hot water is hot for all 10 of us! The separate living spaces allows for the kids to have a space to watch TV and play. The washer and dryer, while dated, works great. The outside shower has warm water and works great to get the sand off. The yard is spacious and well manicures, but watch out for fire ants! The swing set is a little rickety, but held up! We had a wonderful stay and the owner is easy to reach and very nice! Great for large, multi-family use.

When we arrived at the rental, the lockbox was opened and broken off. So no key was in the box. Called the contact and she answered right away. She led me to the another key. Within 5 minutes of being there, walking up the stairs a picture is falling to the ground. Again - called the contact answered right away. Getting into the house and walking around, it was very very dirty. The floor was not swept or mopped. There was clumps of hair on the bathroom floors, used eyelashes on the counter and all over the floor. Fingernails on the chairs. Unopened condoms stuck in decorations. Piles of dirt on the floor. The decks had chairs flung around, trash lying around. We’ve had to go to the store for cleaning stuff and spend hours cleaning just so we could stay there. I reached out to the contact - now no reply. 2 days later - still haven’t heard anything from her. The living room furniture was outdated and not in good shape. Also dining room table was very wobbly. Overall, the house was ok. Upstairs was nice and the house was very roomy. Elevator was a plus since we had elderly and handicapped people. Pictures shown are not updated to what the house actually looks like.

Entering the house requires climbing 3 flights of stairs. We came in after dark to unlit stairs. Once we got in the house we expected to turn on the outside lights to see to unload everything. Only a couple of lights worked so we had to use the car lights and our phones to see to bring everything in. We expected to be able to use the patio for supper but could but since the lights did not work. When we reported this we were told they would fix it after we left since it was not an emergency. We were told we could take some bulbs out of the kitchen fixtures and put them outside. The fixtures were in such bad shape we did not do that. I sent them a picture of the fixture and asked again to get them fixed. This time the manager said they were on vacation and could not do anything about it. The dishwasher was not connected to the cabinet on one side. The disposal was stopped up so the dishwasher drained into the sink. We fixed that. The ice maker in the refrigerator made almost no ice. There were not nearly enough towels so we had to wash towels. There was no detergent for that. This was by far the least stocked house we have ever stayed in. Fortunately we brought all the pans and such we needed to cook with. The grill we wanted to use was disgustingly dirty and rusty. We rent these type houses usually two times a year. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had. We have never been treated so dismissively by a manager or been in a house that was in such shape.

The house was great, unfortunately the elevator was not working and we had a lot of heavy things to carry up and down the MANY stairs. There was not any laundry soap or dish soap, thankfully their is a dollar store a few miles away. The furniture on the balcony is a quite worn out and some of it is broken Everything else was fine and we enjoyed our visit and so did our kids and grandkids!

we enjoyed this property very much. We had a large family and it was comfortable for everyone staying. We really enjoyed the two living room areas and being walking distance from the beach. It is a little drive down to the area with all the shopping and restaurants, but it was nice to have a large yard for the kids to play. There were a couple of issues with the power going out in the living room but once we found the breaker box in the main bedroom, everything was fine. I would recommend this property to friends and we would love to return.

While we enjoy our stay we did have issues with some items. The house was very roomy and able to easily accommodate 6 adults and 5 kids. The deck was extensive and could see that the beach was very close. Kitchen appliances and utensils enabled us to cook whatever we wanted. Some of the appliances need attention as did some of the furniture. Some of the outdoor paint is worn but that should be expected with the proximity to the Gulf. Our overall rating is 4.5 out of 5 and we would definitely book there again.

We booked this trip over a year in advance and had paid all the fees and received the confirmations and check in information. We had a large family of 12 and so hung around Galveston until we could check in at 4pm. When we entered the house, it was a mess. Looked like a frat party had taken place. I called the owner who at first stated she didn't have a reservation for us. Upon further prodding she found the correct calendar but still seemed confused as to the length of stay, etc. I explained the situation and she apologized and promised she would have a cleaning person out quickly to clean. She offered us a $100 gift certificate for our trouble, which we never saw. The cleaning lady came about 21/2 hours or so later and did an excellent job cleaning it. I left the rating for cleanliness blank as I couldn't give a high rating for how we found it but after it was cleaned it was nice. The listing gave the phone numbers for the husband-and-wife owners and stated to call if any problems and someone would get right back to us. The information for the wi-fi was incorrect, at least there were no networks listed with what we were given. We were provided with either one roll, or a couple of bathrooms had two rolls of toilet paper. One roll of paper towels, most bathrooms had two bath towels though at least one just had the one. Had towels were generally just one per bathroom though there was an extra one floating around. There were no extras and what you had, had to be washed to keep them usable. We went out and purchased new toilet paper and paper towels as with a large group we ran out quickly. Soap for the bathrooms we also purchased as what was left was really small. Some other minor issues I texted them about but never received a response. One of my grandsons got the wi-fi information from the router and we were good. The furniture was old and used. The kitchen table was very wobbly, and we were all careful not to put any pressure on it for fear of breaking a leg or something. The picture used doesn't show the trailer park next door, which I understand not a strong selling point. Having said all this the house fit all our needs perfectly. The bedroom arrangements were excellent for all of us, and it is in a more residential area away from the crowds and within a couple of blocks from a great beach. We put all the hiccups aside and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during this trip. We all actually liked the house it just wasn't exactly as advertised.

The house was spacious and ample for everyone in the family. Great location, short distance from the beach. We enjoyed the beach being more private than closer to the island. House was well equipped with bath towels and kitchen items. We did have to bring our own paper items. Some of the beds are absolutely comfortable for a good night's rest. The only criticism we had, was for the price of the home rental, we felt the furniture in living area and upstairs living area could have been better quality. The sofa recliners and dining table are hanging by a thread, which made them hard to relax and eat on. But other than that, our family thoroughly enjoyed the home and location.

We visited during the off season (our Spring break is early), traffic was low so walk to beach was easy for us. Home worked well for 3 families. High chair and pack n play were both useful. Kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and tools. The elevator was very helpful. Seven Seas convenience store has tons of groceries fyi, i did pick up order from Walmart because I didn't know about seven seas for a few days into the trip. We ate out at Miller's on seawall and Rainforest Cafe (it has a ride!)
