About this farm stay rental
Mas Les Suanes exudes centuries-old charm. The solidly built, tastefully refurbished, stone house sits on a small hill overlooking forests and rolling countryside. The outside terrace, shaded by a wisteria-covered pergola, overlooks rustic terraced gardens and a magnificent 10m x 5m pool.
Situated well off the road, and less than 2.5 kilometres from the village of St Paul-en-Foret, the property is without close neighbours and is a place of calm; a peaceful escape from the world. The beautiful, centuries old, perched villages of Fayence and Seillans with their multitude of shops restaurants and markets are a few minutes drive away,
The private grounds extend to 22,000 square meters
The village itself has a general store, a butcher and a post office. There is welcoming village square with a children’s playground and an attractive bar/café serving food and drink and providing frequent family concerts.
There are various supermarkets, chemists, restaurants, vineyards and galleries all within a 5 kilometre radius. Frejus and Saint Raphael on the Mediterranean coast are 30 minutes by car.
The house is comfortably suitable for 6 adults. It comprises a large split-level ground floor of which half is a cosy lounge area and the other half a kitchen/dining area with pantry and cloakroom. Upstairs has a huge master double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom/toilet. The other double bedroom has its own bathroom and separate toilet. Just at the side of the main house is a separate stone building with a twin bedroom and shower/toilet.
The house and studio have reversible air-conditioning systems. There is a separate outside laundry room.
There is parking space for several cars.
The property is highly recommended for a holiday totally immersed in Provencal life and weather.
