About this house rental
Moose Manor has been recently remodeled. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The home sits on 2/3 of an acre, among colorful Aspen, Blue Spruce, with 2 natural springs flowing in the yard. Across from a Private Wetland where moose, elk, deer, and bear can be found eating and roaming. Moose Manor is a quiet place where moose and deer are often seen in the grass yard along with hummingbirds flying to the feeders.
The cabin is located in a quiet mountain area with land to play games, a beautiful fire pit to roast marshmallows over. Enjoy a peaceful walk around the area, sip coffee on the deck while watching the sun rise, or just sitting at the fire pit watching a colorful sunset fall behind the mountains, while listening to the Colorado River in the background.
Moose Manor is close to Downtown Grand Lake, Granby, and Winter Park is only half an hour away. Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Reservoir, and Grand Lake are all within five minutes of our cabin. Rocky Mountain National Park entrance is only five minutes away as well. Trail Ridge Road passes through the park leading to Estes Park. This is the highest paved continuous road in the Continental US. Amazing wildlife, including elk and moose, can be seen along this breathtaking journey. There is 150 miles of groomed snowmobile trails within minutes of the cabin that meander through some of the best back country powder in the country. In the summer, these trails are used for ATVs with many places to rent all equipment including snowmobiles in the winter.
The master bathroom was remodeled and a new full-size stainless fridge is now in the kitchen.
All new windows and a sliding glass door were installed. The cabin did receive new floors, fresh paint, new kitchen appliances, new furniture, new beds and mattresses, new: bedding, linens, kitchen items, family games, 40" Smart TV and 40"TV in master, and Internet/Wi-fi.
We welcome families with children and pets (please be honest and register your pets). Moose Manor has special touches to keep them all busy. This is a no smoking home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Moose Manor. Communication with the hosts was excellent and the directions they provided via text messages, as well as little signs in the cabin, were spot on. You can really hear the Colorado River roaring any time you open a door or window or step outside. Otherwise, the property was quiet. There are a few things we thought needed mentioning, although they were not enough of a problem to cause us to reduce a star from our overall rating. 1) while the description includes the word “private”, there are other cabins/houses very close by at the back of the cabin so we did not consider the cabin private compared to other cabins we have rented in the past. 2) the first step at the front entrance is higher than standard, so persons with bad knees or leg issues may find it difficult to go up and down the steps at the front entrance. The owners have mounted handles on all sides of the porch posts at the front steps to help people pull themselves up the steps and those were very helpful, as long as you don’t have your hands full as we often do going between the cabin and the vehicle. The front yard is peaceful and lovely. We spent time on the swing looking at the stars and took walks on the road next to the wetlands looking for moose. We didn’t use the fire pit, but that area looked very inviting. The cabin was super convenient to Rocky Mountain NP and several lakes, just as listed. Overall, we had a great experience here.

Our stay at Moose Manor was great! The owners are very kind and quick to answer any questions you might have. We arrived with snow on the ground and everything we needed was there and provided for us. The cabin was so clean and stocked perfectly for my family. We also were able to see Moose, not one, but at least two if not more and were able to get great pictures. I will add to the Moose Manor Facebook page! This is a wonderful vacation place!
