Welcoming studio flat a stone's throw from Como city centre and San Giovanni station.
The flat, located on the first floor of a building equipped with a lift, is characterised by furnishings in warm colours and a large window that make the environment welcoming and bright. The entrance opens onto a convenient hallway with a mirror and an open wardrobe where you can store clothing. On the left, guests will find the living/sleeping area, furnished with a double bed, TV unit, dining table and fully equipped kitchen. The layout is completed by a bathroom with shower.

Lake Como offers some of the most evocative urban, landscape and architectural gems of the entire Italian peninsula. Among these treasures, Como stands out, the capital and main urban centre of the western branch of the lake. Como attracts international tourism linked to the evocative natural scenery and is an industrial centre based on silk trade. Como is a very beautiful, elegant, romantic and well-maintained city, surrounded by medieval walls that host the historic centre, with cobbled streets and magnificent squares. The lakefront is most elegant with several eighteenth-century villas and the Volta Temple. Among the most fascinating aspects of this city are undoubtedly the enchanting villas, celebrated throughout the world for their splendour and their well-kept gardens. Among the most famous are Villa Olmo, a fine example of neoclassical architecture and venue for important exhibitions, and La Rotonda, a villa built at the end of the eighteenth century and seat of the Provincial Administration. Near the lakefront is the main square of the city, dominated by the Broletto (the ancient municipal palace built in 1215). The square also hosts the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, one of the most fascinating examples of Italian Gothic art. Finally, it is recommended to climb up to visit the village of Brunate, accessible by a funicular railway, symbol of the city, from which you can admire an evocative panorama around the Art Nouveau style residences.

Was totally surprised when I opened the door to this studio. WOW! This studio is very spacious with a spiral staircase. Beautifully presented, well stocked kitchen, comfy bed. Well positioned to train station - an easy walk. Great restuarants, hotels & choice of eating places close by & well stocked supermarket - all within short walk. I would definitely stay here again if I was travelling. A BIG thankyou to Luis for your assistance getting me sorted after leaving my phone at home with all of my travel details on it.... :)
