About this villa rental
The small but cozy country cabin "Finca Nim 1" is located on a large farm in the mountainous landscape near Mogán in southwest Gran Canaria. The 30m² holiday home consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom as well as one bathroom (with shower) and can therefore accommodate 2 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), air conditioning, washing machine (shared), a baby bed, a mini-cot and a highchair.
The outdoor area features a private and partly covered terrace with seating furniture and a stone barbecue, while the communal outdoor area, which is shared with the homeowners and their children, has chickens and goats as well as a garden and a pool, surrounded by the wonderful mountain panorama.
A bakery is 300m from the property, and in Mogán (3.5 km or a 5-minute drive), you will find a supermarket as well as some cafés and restaurants. While the area is perfect for hiking or cycling, you can reach the nearest beach in Playa de Mogán, which is a 10-minute drive or 5.4 km away. The seaside town also has a port, a pharmacy and a number of cafés, bars and restaurants. The airport is a 40-minute drive or 54 km away.
Parking spaces are available on the property. Pets are not allowed. Step-free interior.
Bed linens and towels are included in the price. Homegrown vegetables and fruit available.

Pros: Die Unterkunft befindet sich abseits vom Trubel von Puerto de Mogan, erwartungsgemäss ist dafür ein eigenes Transportmittel (Mietwagen oder auch Fahrrad) empfehlenswert bzw. erforderlich. Von der Vermieterin Paula gibt es genaue Anweisungen, an welcher Stelle der Strasse die Zufahrt zum Grundstück abführt. Trotzdem kamen bei uns bei der Anreise (unberechtigte) Zweifel ob der Richtigkeiten auf, da die Zufahrt extrem steil nach unten führt - daran gewöhnt man sich aber. ;-)
Der Bungalow ist im Vintage-Stil sehr individuell eingerichtet und hebt sich wohltuend vom Hotel-Einheitsbrei und den sonst auf Gran Canaria üblichen Betonburgen ab. Für uns war dies auch der Grund, genau diese Unterkunft zu buchen. Es ist wunderbar ruhig. Ab und zu schaut der Hofhund Roy nach dem Rechten und freut sich über ein paar Streicheleinheiten.
Supermärkte, Geschäfte und Restaurants sind mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen, Paula gibt dafür gute Empfehlungen. Die Vermieter sind hervorragende Gastgeber!
Cons: Wlan funktioniert nicht wirklich.
