About this house rental
**if renting in the winter, home is only heated with pellet or wood burner and propane wall Furnace (which does just fine but you need to be aware). plenty of room from a snowmobile trailer and you can ride right from the house to the trail***. Shovels provided if snow is falling on your arrival FYI. If you can handle all this then this is one of the sweetest spots to stay at. Trust me..... Summer time renters...Attention nature seekers! north country trail is literally across the street, and trail 8 is only 1 minute down the road. So If you're into exploring in your 4x4, hiking, biking, or trail walking, then this may be as close to heaven as it gets in person for you! During your stay you be surrounded by gorgeous views and complete privacy! This is a full modern completely off grid, solar powered home with plenty of room to spread out! Enjoy amazing sunsert while sitting by the campfire or preparing dinner on the grill. master bedroom consist of the entire second floor with a half bath. There's a full bath on the main floor along with two full selfless sleepers that seem to work great for kids and then another queen sofa sleeper in the walk out basement which includes small kitchenette and then there is a full size futon in the back sun room looking out at the lake. large kitchen that is fully stocked with utensils and cooking Essentials. Gas stove and butcher block countertops. When you stay with us you also get free use of the paddle boat; kayaks can be rented $50 ea for entire stay. Please let us know in advance if this is going to be requested.

View was great, pictures were a little deceiving of the inside of the property.. We could not figure out how to open the lock box so we left keys in mailbox under the lock box. Weather was fabulous.

This house is in a great location, far enough out of town to feel secluded and in nature and close enough to quickly access groceries, restaurants and hiking trails. The view of the lake is beautiful.

The place was pleasant, not perfect but decent. Older house with a lived in feel and look. Could use some finishing (missing trim, unfinished painting etc)

Beautiful property. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher and trash in the cabin trash receptacle. We didnt know we had only had wood burning stove for heat. Maybe not a problem but it would have been nice to know this info up front.
