About this villa rental

Modern Villa with 5 bedrooms, one bathroom and three shower rooms located close to the Spanish border with Portugal allowing easy access to both countries by car or taxi.
ENTRANCE
The property is spread over three levels accessed by a white marble staircase with porcelain tiling throughout and decorated in a conventional style to allow guests to relax and enjoy their surroundings. It is accessed through the front door into an entrance lobby situated on a mezzanine level which opens up to the uppermost ceiling in the property where a large crystal chandelier hangs over a marble staircase.
BEDROOMS
On the mezzanine there are two double bedrooms (one en-suite) on either side from where you can step down a short staircase into the main living area of the villa.
There is a further double bedroom on the top floor along with two twin rooms with single beds and a modern bathroom as well as access to outside terraces. Bedrooms have built in wardrobes, external roller shutters on windows, with fly screens and curtains.
LIVING AREA
The lower ground floor is where you will find a living/dining room, a large modern fitted kitchen and a small shower room adjacent to bottom of stairs. There is a large corner sofa system with an additional standard sofa arranged around a central coffee table which provides ample room for guest seating. This area also has a large HD television with satellite tuner along with internet connectivity and wifi.
Air conditioning is installed and for the cooler months there is a built in log or solid fuel burner within the central fireplace.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is a modern installation with marble worktops and built in ceramic induction hob, built under oven and large American style fridge/freezer with ice and filtered cold water dispensers.
An extendable breakfast table and chairs is also available within the kitchen area if outside dining is not the preferred option.
EXTERNALLY
There is an annex that houses a laundry room with washing machine and clothes dryer along with a separate shower room with toilet and wash basin for pool users.
A weatherproof outdoor corner sofa unit and armchair allows for relaxation along with up to 12 reclining garden chairs and four folding lightweight sunbeds.
Two glass topped tables are available for alfresco dining arrangements and can be used together or separately as required.
A large 10m x 4m built in pool is also available for having a cool dip on those long hot sunny days and is 1.5m deep across entire area. (please be aware this may not be suitable for small children, and all children should be supervised at all times).
Please do not dive into pool as this can be very dangerous and do not leave children unattended.

From making the booking to checking out today, the whole experience has been outstanding. Had a wonderful family holiday with lots of new memories to take home with us. The location was perfect. We alternated most days eating in Portugal one night and Spain the next. Thank you everyone involved for making our holiday a brilliant one.

House is exactly as described. The house is quite spacious, very clean and there is air conditioning in every room. It is very well equipped with all kinds of stuff. There are enough towels available, for the bathroom, the kitchen and for the pool. In the kitchen you will find all spices, all appliances and there is also enough cooking utensils. There are board games and puzzles, also games for the beach and pool accessories (inflatable) For us the location was ideal. This way we could visit Spain and Portugal. There are many nice things to visit within a radius of max 1 hour drive. (Ayamonte, Huelva, Albufeira dolphin spotting & jeep safari to the interior, spa salino, tavira, praia do barril, ...) Supermarket and pharmacy at 400m. Ayamonte at 10 min drive where you will find many restaurants and bigger shops. Located in a quiet area and yet close to everything. Easy check-in and good communication. You do have to take into account the time difference with Portugal. The house is 5 minutes from the border and the mobile phone sometimes takes the Portuguese time.

The property is right on the Portugal/Spain border which was what we were looking for to allow trips within both countries. It is located beside a Golf Course, a short drive from Ayamonte. The house was filled with just about anything you could need for the trip and had some of the basic essentials (spices, etc..) so you did not need to buy these for your stay. We had some pretty wild weather during our week which did some damage to the fence, but they came and temporarily repaired it right away and noted it would be replaced. Too cool to eat outside or use the pool, but we did take advantage of the full grill and flat top for a few of the dinners we ate in.Overall, a very nice property and we would not hesitate to stay here again on a future trip.
