About this house rental
Welcome to Sunflower Cottage--our long running, 5-star short term rental new to the VRBO family! Prepare to be spoiled with stunning views, luxury bedding, treats, Wifi, laundry, off-street parking and more! The cottage sits on a large, gorgeous property and is perfect for couples and single travelers! It is located just off Highway 24, between downtown Manitou and Old Colorado City. A popular horse stables is across the street, so happy riders pass by daily. You can walk to Garden of the Gods trailheads and enjoy many nearby activities. STR LIC. #0712
The cottage is outfitted with everything you need, including a well stocked kitchen with plenty of coffee, pots and pans for cooking, spices, a small charcoal grill and other basics. We provide special treats and snacks for each of our guests too. Some toiletries including shampoo and conditioner, lotions and items you may have forgotten are provided as well. We are in a much beloved area of the popular "Westside," called Lennon Park. It is a quaint residential area located off Highway 24. The cottage sits on a 4 parcel lot and backs to a seasonal creek. Huge elm trees surround the property, but stunning views of the mountains are everywhere. As close as it is to everything, you will feel a world away. It is great for romance, but also very family friendly. Everyone loves seeing the horses go by from Academy Stables, a long time family owned landmark of the area. You will also delight in our many gardens on the property, including our magical fairy garden! Lindsay and Cathy made us feel welcome and comfortable. They made sure that we had everything that we need and to let them know if we need anything else. This was the best stocked home that we have stayed in! If we had forgotten anything, they had it covered. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Fun, little cottage for a couple's vacation or getaway. Supplied with everything you would need. Nice large backyard with seating and a grill. Nice quiet location.

This is a sweet little cottage, perfect for myself and husband. The area is very quiet and feels removed from the hustle of the city. The cottage decor is bright and cheerful, the bed was very comfortable and there was a great assortment of coffee choices provided. We visit the Springs several times a year and we would choose to stay again.

I absolutely loved this place ! It had everything I needed plus so many extra touches. Decor was whimsical and fun!
The only strange thing was that the host wasn’t aware I was staying there? Must of been a VRBO glitch!
