Strange layout of the apartment with steps going up and down all over the apartment. The place needed some upgrades.

We loved being able to walk to restaurants and shopping. The apartment was very clean. Everything works but it is a funky old building with uneven floors. We stubbed our toes a few times. The bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked whenever we moved. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch.

We stayed for the weekend and had a great time! Property was very clean upon arrival. Check in was easy as well as the check out. Wonderful communication with the host. We didn't need anything during our stay but have no doubt Jeff would have been on top of it if we did! I loved the fact we could just walk out the door down the alley and be right in the mix of it all and have a private parking space as well. Window AC units were running like crazy in the August heat but kept the unit confortable. Property was just perfect for what we needed. Thanks for the stay and we'll see you next time we're in town!!

This unit is in the middle of downtown Manitou Springs but nice and quiet since it is on the back of the building. The towels were nice and fluffy and the linens were nice. Kitchen is nicely stocked (no dishwasher but they provided dish soap). Bathroom has a skylight in the shower that my youngest loved looking out of. The outdoor patio was lovely and we spent time there relaxing on several occasions. Walked to the cog railroad and Manitou Incline from the unit. There are multiple small steps in the unit but you get used to them quickly. The back parking area is snug but easy to maneuver - don't bring your 15 passenger van though! It was phenomenal to have designated parking in Manitou! Owner was wonderful and responded quickly to any questions. Restaurant in the building was great and the kids loved trying fondue!

Loved the private outdoor space. There were special wash cloths for removing make-up which I though was a stroke of genius - something I'm going to do at home as well. We hosted a family dinner and had everything we needed but a potato peeler, which I 'donated' to the utensil's drawer,

Great central location for Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon, Air Force Academy, Olympic Training Center, Olympic Museum. Fun to shop and eat in historic Manitou. Quiet location and everything as advertised. Communication with owner was timely and effective.

We stayed two nights and had a great time. Short walk out the door to everything on the main road in Manitou Springs. Having a designated parking spot on downtown Manitou makes all the difference. The apartment is small but clean and tidy. It was plenty of room for two adults and one child. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The listing is very accurate. It was clean and cute inside. I fell once in the house because of uneven steps in the hallway. Keep a light on if walking in the hallway at night. Super close to the stores and has a private deck. I rented for two nights but stayed one night because of smells in the bathroom and seemingly unsafe area. It’s an older place so I associate smells with the age of the home. It was bad enough that we wouldn’t use the water or shower. The location seems a little scary and you must walk in an Alleyway to get downtown. I heard noises at night and noticed my closet had openings near the ceiling to unknown space. That made me unable to sleep.

We had a great stay here, everything went well and as expected - the listing is accurate and the property is lovely. Great shower, comfy bed and sofa, everything we needed in the kitchen. And the location is ideal, with shops and restaurants just around the corner (though causing no noise) and a short walk to the trailhead for a great hike up Red Mountain.

We made our way into Manitou on the day they celebrated Carnivale on a sunny day. Loved the unique, diverse crowd enjoying the shops, restaurants and bars. We loved the amount of things within walking distance. Parking can be tricky depending on the size of your vehicle, the size of other vehicles also using the space and ground conditions (snow/ice).

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment in the historic downtown. The location was conveniently located in the middle of the historic downtown making access to exploring the shops and restaurants easy and quick. Driving to the main attractions was quick as well. The hosts provide a clean and comfortable place to stay. The only negatives were the steepness of the driveway, the parking spot was inconvenient, and there wasn’t much of a view from the limited windows.

Great location

This place was great for our family. Right in the heart of Manitou with so much in walking distance. It was clean and cozy. It should be noted that this is an apartment above a restaurant, in the back of the building. In order to get to the street you have to walk down an alleyway. The apartment's floors are built up in certain areas. So be aware of that or you will trip. These weren't issues for us, just might be for others. We enjoyed our stay!!!

Great little place to stay right in the middle of town! Walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Fun little brewery right next door. This unit is small but perfect for two people, very clean and lots of little perks. The only challenge was the parking but it was really nice to have a free place to park and we walked everywhere except when we drove over to Old Colorado City and Pikes Peak. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a little getaway. Great location, walking distance to: Cog Railway for Pikes Peak train, shops & restaurants, and so much more, right there in town. Great apt for 3 friends (or more!), nice space to relax in the evening, super cute patio, kitchen equipped with necessities, games, movies, more! Didn’t have enough time to see everything, but will definitely stay again when I’m the area. Thank you for a great stay!

Overall it was good. The biggest issues, which could also be dangerous, were the multiple levels of flooring in our unit, and the very steep incline to parking lot. I tripped and fell once as it took getting used to. Also if you wanted to get to the street without driving you had to walk down the steep parking incline or ask the restaurant manager to unlock our back door and then go down very steep and very dark stairs! All this are issues I think older renters especially be aware of before they rent.

We LOVED staying at this rental! It was truly in the perfect location for shopping, eating and fun (we really enjoyed the awesome arcade in Manitou Springs)!! This place was just what we needed for our family of 5. Enough space for us all to sleep and hang out when we were there and it was nice and clean! The only "downfall" was the parking but we were aware of the issue before we came and from other reviews so it wasn't any surprise and it truly ended up being fine! I contacted the owners a couple times for different things and heard back from them pretty immediately which was awesome. Overall, we loved our stay! Thank you for having us!

Location was perfect for wanting to walk around Manitou Springs. 1 mile walking distance to the base of The Incline/Bar Trail - you can take the bus up to the top and will mostly likely need to because parking is so limited up there. The check in was very easy and the property was as expected. We stayed during August and it was quite warm in Manitou those days - in the 90s. The window air conditioner in the kitchen held on well, but the small units in the bedrooms could not keep up, so sleep was a bit uncomfortable. However, the apartment ALSO came with a box fan. So we figured out how to push the much the cooler air from the kitchen down the hallway to the bedrooms. Parking is limited, but we were well warned about that AND limited parking is a theme in Manitou. The fact this apartment comes with a dedicated space NOT on the road is a huge deal. If we come back to Manitou, we will stay here again - hands down.
