About this lodge
Beautiful, rustic north woods log cabin with a gorgeous lake view and beachfront enjoyable for the kids and adults young at heart. Sleeps 16; 4 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms. Wake up to a view of the sunrise peeking from behind the tall timbers on the shoreline of Lake Arbutus. Spend your days enjoying the numerous outdoor activities and the surrounding beauty that the Hatfield area has to offer year round from the convenience of the backyard. Our back porch is only 90 feet away from the sandy beach of Lake Arbutus. Everything from making memories around the campfire to hiking and snow shoeing, there is something for everyone.
Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and in-floor heat beneath your feet on the main level. Rental includes the use of the dock on Lake Arbutus and the fully stocked kitchen (utensils, glasses, serve ware and silverware). Beach towels, life jackets, and firewood are included. Two charcoal grills are also included, but you'll need your own charcoal.
Many outdoor activities for all seasons and all ages:
• Making memories around the fire pit in the back yard overlooking Lake Arbutus.
• Lake Arbutus activities include swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, ice fishing, ice
skating (bring your own skates), paddle boarding, tubing. Cruise up to the Tiki Bar
and cool off with a beverage or a game of corn hole, while the kids play on the
playground and the sound of tropical music plays in the background.
• Russell Memorial Campground Playground
• 100 + Miles of ATV & UTV Trails - Winter & Summer Riding
• Bruce Mound - day & night skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing
• Levis Mound Trail - hiking, mountain biking
• Skyline Golf Course - 18 hole golf course with bar & grill

• Lunda Community Center - gymnasium, basketball/volleyball/racquetball courts,

We had another great time! The house fits our family of 11 perfectly! Really enjoy the little beach area for our small kids. And enjoyed a few campfires!

This was a beautiful stay for our multigenerational family gathering. There was something for everyone. The water was shallow enough for little ones to play safely in. The lake offered many boating experiences such as fishing and tube pulling. In addition, the public park was walking distance just down the road and offered a nice beach and playground. We enjoyed a great fish fry at a near by restaurant which was also walking distance. Items we needed or forgot could be purchased at a nearby gas station which was also walking distance. We really appreciated the layout and quality of this beautiful cabin which was generously supplied with things we needed including consumable products. The owner stopped by for a friendly chat. Being located so close to the ATV action I was concerned we may be bothered by their noise and traffic but that really wasn't the case. The only thing that I thought could have made the experience better was if the private sandy area could be made bigger and more easily reached for all our little ones. We are definitely considering returning here next year for our gathering.
