The City of Tavares has served as the County's Seat for Lake County Florida, since 1888. Downtown Tavares, lies on the shores of Lake Dora. The picturesque Wooton Park sits only one block from Main Street and offers families everything from picnic pavilions to boat ramps. Tavares is also home to the Dora Canal, known as one of the most beautiful waterways in the world. Tavares is located in the center of the State of Florida 45 minutes northwest of Orlando.
Perfect location to walk into DOWNTOWN Tavares, bring boat to Tavares boat ramp and BASS FISHING tournament boat ramp, both within 1.5 miles. Quiet neighborhood and everything you need for a getaway. Coming to town for an event at the PAVILION? Perfect place to stay only 1 mile away. Visiting for art shows, antique shopping, a family gathering. BIG HOUSE sporting event, only 3 miles away. This 94 year old fully renovated bungalow is bright, clean, comfortable and in a quiet walkable neighborhood. The property has ample parking on site for 2 truck/trailers and is only 1.5 miles from the boat ramp in Leesburg or closer to the public ramp on Lake Dora. Outdoor screened seating area and gazebo in the backyard. Note: this bungalow has 2 units, the front unit is 2/1 (Barrow Bungalow)with full kitchen and the back unit (Esther Studio) is a studio 1/1, also has parking for truck/trailer combination. They are rented separately and do not interfere with either party staying on property. Both units can be rented together as a 3/2 if needed.

I was welcomed to a beautiful bungalow, full of charm. So comfortable and safe. Bungalow has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shopping and fishind. I will most definitely be a repeat guest. Thank you so much being a grest host

Everything was great and super easy with great location. The only negative is the neighborhood was a little sketchy but had no problems at all.
