Charfield, a quaint village in South Gloucestershire, offers a peaceful countryside retreat with plenty to explore in the surrounding area. Nature lovers can enjoy scenic walks along the rolling Cotswold hills or nearby trails like the Avon Cycleway, perfect for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. Charfield's proximity to the Cotswolds makes it an ideal base for exploring picturesque villages, historic market towns, and charming pubs.
A short drive away is Berkeley Castle, a stunning medieval fortress with beautiful gardens and fascinating history, or the Wild Place Project, perfect for families seeking outdoor adventures and animal encounters. For those interested in local history, Charfield’s St. James Church is a serene spot to visit.

A vehicle is the most convenient way to get around the area. There is private off road parking for 1 vehicle. There is also unrestricted street parking outside the cottage.
Other Things to Note:
There are some maintenance works taking place at nearby Charfield Train Station from 3rd November 2025 until mid 2026. Overnight work will take place in 2026. We don't yet know the schedule but will inform you if your booking is going to be impacted. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
The property is situated near to a train line. Whilst it isn't a busy line (only 1 track in each direction), there is potential for some noise.
We welcome a maximum of 2 dogs with a fee of £20/dog. It is on the condition they are kept downstairs, off sofas and not left in the property alone. Any mess in the garden needs to be cleaned up.
Please note, the kitchen has a low ceiling.
