Construction Update (Updated 6/3/2026)

We would like to make our guests aware that there is an active commercial construction project close to this home.
Construction is typically scheduled Monday through Friday, and occasionally on Saturdays, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Depending on the stage of the project, some construction noise may be audible inside the home during working hours. Outside of those times, the area is generally quiet.
Current Project Updates:
We have been notified that there will be no further nighttime construction activity.
The townhomes located next door are expected to be completed in June 2026 and are nearly finished.
The project behind the property is currently scheduled for completion by December 2026.
Another project is beginning on St. Philip Street, but it is not expected to create noticeable noise at this home.

We continue to successfully host guests throughout the construction period and remain committed to providing an exceptional Charleston experience. We will continue to go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable.

Beautiful place and great location for tucked away eateries and shops! We would definitely recommend. Plus you get off street parking w a gate which is a major plus in Charleston! You get a ton of street noise however! Woke up 2 nights in a row (weekend) to loud groups of college kids. It cannot be helped and it is not the hosts fault (they were kind enough to leave a pack of earbuds, though we could’ve used a pack for each of us). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Great space. Beautifully decorated. Enough room for 6 people to sit around the living area and talk after a long day of walking. Would definitely stay here again!

House was nice but trip was unpleasant because of construction on thtee sides not just "next" to the house as told. Also could not reach the house because of street blocked on both ends of street by barricade and street was torn up and holes. Metal plates had to be put down to drive on. Had to call to see how to get to the house and was told ask a construction worker to move the barrier. This was done entire time we were there. Sometimes you had help moving the barricade and sometimes you didn't. The construction was so loud and forceful that the windows and pictures rattled and house shook. Was awful. From 630 am to 730 pm. Shouldn't be rented during this. It's not just a little construction. It's massive. Out every window and workers passing by constantly. Never experienced anything like this We left early. So sad
