About this house rental

Monday’s Child is a charming beach home located on 30A, featuring an expansive wrap-around front porch that is surrounded by lush landscaping, providing both privacy and a serene outdoor living experience. The porch offers several distinct spaces for relaxation, including an outdoor dining table for six—perfect for alfresco meals, an adjacent lounge area, and four comfortable rockers ideal for sipping morning coffee or enjoying an evening glass of wine. Just off the porch is a large charcoal grill, perfect for afternoon BBQs.

Step through the front porch and into the open-concept first floor, where the living, dining, and newly renovated kitchen areas seamlessly flow together, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen boasts stunning quartz countertops, custom built-in cabinetry, and all-new stainless-steel appliances. A spacious double-door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, a five-burner electric stove, and a center island with a stainless-steel finish make meal prep a breeze. The kitchen opens directly to the dining area, which comfortably seats six, allowing for easy family gatherings. The living room features a built-in bay window, perfect for curling up with a good book, and is furnished with a three-seat sofa, a love seat, and a cozy club chair. Natural light pours in through double doors that open onto the wrap-around porch, bringing the outdoors in. The living area is also equipped with a large flat-screen TV for movie nights or relaxing with your favorite shows.

Downstairs, you'll find two well-appointed queen bedrooms. The primary queen bedroom has ample closet space and an ensuite bathroom, recently renovated with quartz counters, a single vanity, and a tub/shower combination. The second queen bedroom also has a newly renovated ensuite bathroom, featuring a custom built-in twin bunk bed—a perfect kids' room. The bathroom includes a large single vanity with quartz countertops and a glass-enclosed walk-in shower.

Just off the main living areas, stairs lead to a bonus loft on the second floor. This space offers another queen bed and access to a private open-air balcony, where you can enjoy slight Gulf views and take in Seaside’s famous fireworks displays on the Fourth of July or New Year’s Eve from the comfort of your home.

Additional amenities include an outdoor shower at the rear of the house, ideal for rinsing off after a day on the beach, as well as a stackable full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. Monday’s Child is a family favorite, ideally located just 75 feet from the beach and only a 3-minute walk to downtown Seaside. Here, you can enjoy the Seaside Amphitheater with Friday night movies under the stars, live outdoor concerts, the Saturday farmers' market, and a wide variety of dining and shopping options. It’s the perfect spot for a memorable family getaway!

Great home. Comfortable and close walk to all shops etc. Far enough away to feel private. Beach is great and super close. Definitely rent the chairs. Pretty peek a boo view from loft room. Stairs are steep so good for teens. Well organized process for check in etc.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental house was in very good condition with sleeping for 1-2 adults and multiple children. Impressed with the amount of drawers and storage for unpacking, and the living room is very comfortable. The second floor balcony was perfect for watching the 4th of July fireworks. The appliances were clean and functioning. I do wish there were some basics left in the kitchen like salt & pepper & coffee filters, but the office was very accommodating and brought over filters and extra mugs when we asked. The dishwasher was not emptied ahead of time which is why I didn't know where the mugs and cutting board were on arriving. The paint in the main bathroom is peeling off the wall and should be addressed. The wifi signal throughout the house was weak, and the tv in the main bedroom didn't work bc it was so weak. The main problem, unfortunately, is something that needs to be fixed in Seaside in general. Every night there was a loud parade of trucks and golf carts blasting music well through 12:00am. There were fireworks set off next to the driveway more than once, although that did improve once the sheriffs office put more cars out. As a lone adult in charge of 4 teenage girls I felt unsafe and nervous every night. I do not blame the management company, but I will not be returning to Seaside. I was also put off by the extreme over pricing for everything in the square but then felt constrained by the kitchen as far as cooking went. I hope Seaside fixes its problems for the sake of the owners and long time vacationers.
