The living area is stocked with books, a Smart TV with an old-school DVD player, and comfortable spaces ideal for unwinding after a day exploring the outdoors.
Step outside onto the panoramic deck overlooking your own private waterfall, an exceptional feature that provides the perfect backdrop for sipping morning coffee or stargazing at night. Enjoy the soothing sounds of cascading water, or gather around the firepit for memorable evenings roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. The cabin is perfectly positioned alongside the Reddies River, renowned locally for its stocked rainbow trout fishing - beginners and seasoned fisher alike find success here (locals recommend corn as bait!). While there are no official trails, guests love walking along the riverbank or exploring nearby gravel roads.

Our location offers easy access to notable attractions and events: grocery stores and restaurants (including our favorite local Mexican spot, Plaza Del Sol) are just 15-20 minutes away. Many guests book stays around local music festivals such as MerleFest, Brushy Mountain Apple Festival, and Carolina in the Fall Festival. You're also within easy reach of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Scott Kerr Lake, Appalachian Ski Resort (1 hour), Boone/Appalachian State University (45 minutes), Linville Caverns (1.5 hours), and Asheville's Biltmore Estate (2 hours).

Important Property Notes & Occupancy Rules:

Maximum Occupancy: To protect our delicate mountain environment, limit neighborhood traffic, and ensure our private septic system functions perfectly, the cabin permits a strict maximum of 6 guests. Large parties, events, or unannounced day/night visitors are not allowed.

Extra Guest Policy: If your group size changes, any extra guests must be communicated to us and approved prior to arrival. To maintain fairness and protect the property, we utilize exterior-facing smart cameras to monitor incoming traffic. Unregistered guests will automatically incur a charge of $100 per extra person, regardless of the nature or duration of their stay.

Winter Travel: During winter months, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended due to potential snow and icy conditions along the private access roads.
