Great localisation next to the sea - amazing view, almost city center - for a short walk from the old town. Nice stuff, clean, friendly.
The hotel is next to the street so it was a little bit loud but it didn't disturb us. We had nice time sightseeing so we were tired enough to fall asleep quickly.

Location was great, close to old town, parking across the road (paid and free if you have patience to wait) staff were attentive but obviously a little tired after a long season. All in all a very pleasing stay
We ate out most of the time but kitchenette left a lot to be desired. No lighting, broken microwave very basic. Shower 50cm x50cm no shower curtain, floors were flooded after every shower. Furniture was quite a miss match of different pieces . Creating quite a clutter in the room. Missing as usual was a decent luggage rack. Tourists travel with luggage so if you don't want your furniture used as luggage stands...supply some.

Sometimes it was hard to make fresh air in the room, but the air condition was working, so it helped a lot! The fridge didn’t work as cold as we wanted to.

I liled the location, right across rethymno beach, which is big and organized and it is close to downtown, but still not too crowded like downtown.
The room was pretty soundproof.
It was not clean when we checked in, hair on the floor, garbage full in the kitchen, sheets and towels stained, kitchen furniture not whiped (the fronts).
They advertise daily housekeeping, but they only cleaned our room once in 5 days (for one day, I told them they don't need to do housekeeping)
When I arrived, they asked me to pay a tax, 1,5 euro per night, whereas when you book through booking, it says from de the beggining that all taxes are included in the fare. Besides, after I booked and payed via booking, I received the summary of what I paid and that 1,5euro tax per night was included in the ammount I paid. Pay attention to what housings are asking you. Double check everything.
I did not like that there was no one at the reception.
The internet did not work at all, except for the first day we arrived.
The bathroom is too small.
The furniture in the room is quite worn.
You do not have dishsoap or dishcloth to do your dishes, but they are not doing them for you either that one time they come in to do the cleaning.
