A beautiful, bright and private studio room situated in a recently renovated Amsterdam eco-houseboat. It has an en suite bathroom and stunning view over the IJ water. Located in the city center, nearby the famous 'Jordaan' area.

I'd like to invite you to my recently renovated houseboat and be one of my first guests. After an exciting time or extensive refurbishment, I'm thrilled to finally open my doors for you!
So if you're looking for an authentic stay in Amsterdam, you've come to the right place.
This eco-friendly houseboat is ideally located in the Zeeheldenbuurt, at a quiet place in the 'Oude Houthaven'. It has stunning views over the IJ water and Amsterdam North and is within walking distance of the city center (8 minutes).
Staying at my boat will make a contribution to the environment. By heating through a sustainable water heat pump, the houseboat uses 5x less energy, emits no CO² and does not burn fossil fuels.
The 40 sqm private studio room is equipped with everything you need. It has a comfy king size bed (180 x 200) with crisp, white sheets and window ceilings above your head to gaze at the stars.
Start your day with a Nespresso in the relaxing sofa and settle down in your life at sea.
The ensuite bathroom has a bath with stunning views over the harbor, a separate shower and luxurious bathroom amenities from Marie-Stella-Maris.
This room has a separate toilet.
We offer free Wi-Fi in the entire accommodation, use of bed linens, and towels.

We enjoyed the stay and our host was super accommodating. Great stay. Just be sure when you Uber to meet your car on the main street.

It is very interesting and special to live on the houseboat. We had a lovely few days in beautiful Amsterdam.
Overall, i'm with the positive reviews...
I think in addition you should know a few things about the studio apartment:
The boat contains the owner's apartment and several guest rooms - that are separated from each other by drywall.
Orientation on the boat is initially difficult - as none of the various entrance doors are marked.
The studio only includes the room with the bed and the bathroom. All other pictures of the ad show other parts of the boat.
The small seating area on deck can only be reached from the outside.
Subjectively, i think the 40 sqm is doubtful, in fact the studio looks much smaller.
There is no way to store the clothes - no wardrobe, no regal, no coat hanger. The few existing kitchen utensils are open on the very small minibar fridge. There is no kitchenette or cooking facilities in the room (so the term "studio" could be misleading). Airing is only possible via 1 porthole in the room and 1 in the bathroom, so it can get very warm in summer. The portholes cannot be covered, so they may be easily visible from the opposite pier.
The owner are very friendly and (sometimes) respond to inquiries.
The ad text suggests a recent renovation, but according to the owner, this was 5 years ago (status 08/23).
Overall, I feel the property is expensive in relation to what you get.
