About this house rental
Charming, newly renovated home minutes from everything yet tucked away in the beautiful Point of Pines lakeside neighborhood. With a boat ramp at the neighborhood entrance, there is easy access to the property by water. The house includes a private boathouse with two slips for your use. You will have everything you need to enjoy a peaceful time on the lake. Enjoy fishing from the dock or boat. Watch the sunset over the water as you listen to logs crackle in the firepit. Take a hike in nearby Lake Guntersville State Park. Take the kids to the playground at the city park. Explore all the shopping that Guntersville and nearby Scottsboro have to offer, including the infamous "Unclaimed Baggage" store or the unique Mike's Bins experience!

Main bedroom has a queen bed overlooking the water and a half-bath. Second bedroom overlooks the water and has a King Bed. The third bedroom has a King Bed. The fourth bedroom is located downstairs and has two twin beds and two trundle twin beds. (The downstairs bedroom is accessed through the sliding glass doors on the back patio. There are no interior steps.)
Bathroom one has a huge tiled shower. Bathroom two is built for two with a separate water closet, huge stand alone soaking tub, and tiled shower with body sprayers, hand wand, and two shower heads. See the Photos!
Plenty of fluffy, fresh linens are provided for your stay.
Amenities include full use of the boat house, propane grill, fire pit, high speed wifi, Smart 4K flat screen TVs in every bedroom and in a 65 inch TV in the living room with apps to use your existing Amazon Prime, Netflix, and/or Hulu accounts, Bluray/DVD player, High Efficiency Washer and Dryer, Keurig coffee maker (with complimentary Kcups), Tankless hot water heater (so you never run out of hot water with all those family members that come along!), tons of cards and board games, and a small book library. The kitchen is well appointed to provide your every need during your stay.
New aluminum dock ladder has been added for easier swimming access.
We have three nice sit on top Kayaks that we rent the use of all three for your entire stay for a $100 flat fee. Just ask if you are interested.
Feel free to check the lake levels for your trip (https://www.tva.com/environment/lake-levels/Guntersville/Operating-Guide). 595 ft equates to approximately 4 ft levels in the boathouse. The lake is a living beast. The experience at the water can vary depending on lake level and lake weeds or debris. TVA sprays several times a year and we hire a local crew to cut and remove at the beginning of the summer.
We just bought a new double oven for the kitchen and a new grill (picture is in with lakehouse pictures). It can do propane, charcoal, or smoking. We provide the propane. If you want to use the other features come prepared.
FYI....Guntersville Publix will deliver groceries to the front door if you don't want to pack groceries.
This is our 1st vacation rental. We are premier hosts and now have 3 lake properties (Two on Smith Lake and one on Guntersville Lake). The other property IDs for the others are 3094465 and 2473402.

We had a lovely time staying in this home with our adult children. It was peaceful and comfortable with easy access to the lake. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the hosts were communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Property was as advertised. Great spot to relax. Very quiet and peaceful with plenty of yard to feel plenty of space from neighbors. Very well stocked kitchen and beds were very comfortable. Great stay.

Ben and Lela have done an excellent job on this property! The inside is beautifully decorated with an amazing bathroom. This house had everything we needed and we enjoyed use of the boat dock to store our boat in the evenings. Ben and Lela were very easy to work with and responded quickly to all our questions. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Keepin' It Reel provided a nice place for my family to meet to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
Positives: The hosts let us check in early as the house was cleaned the day before. There was a well-stocked kitchen with good quality cookware--even cast-iron pans. The bathrooms were nice and had amazing showers. Three of the bedrooms were good. The beds were a bit soft, but not bad for a vacation home. Unfortunately, there were also some negatives about this vacation home which detracted from an enjoyable holiday. The downstairs bedroom was very musty smelling. Due to the musty smell, we could not sleep there. I had to concoct a bed out of comforters because my son's allergies would not tolerate the downstairs. We attempted to use the sleeper sofa in the living room, but the bed's frame appeared to be broken on one side, and the mattress would have been very uncomfortable anyways. In addition, the couch needs to be replaced. It was worn out and had no support left.
**The online listing was accurate except for the mustiness and the couch's comfort.
