Beachfront Bliss in Mar Chiquita Beach! Private Terrace, BBQ, Balcony, and Wifi

Host responded almost immediately with any questions we had. The apartment was better than expected and so was the view and location. I was in awe when I looked out the window. I would definitely stay here again. There are crabs and lizards to watch to keep you busy if you like wildlife. The waves are soothing and you're so close you can hear them with the windows closed. Everything you need is in the apartment and the beds are sooo comfortable.

Great base to explore some of the amazing beaches up and down the coast within 20 miles.

We loved our stay at Sea Side. The location was exceptional. Very relaxing. Walking distance beaches were great for enjoying the views (and food/beverage vendors - highly recommend shrimp tacos and empinadas from TropiBowl at Mar Chiquita). Lilly was a great host and steered us to Costa Azul Restaurant for indoor dining. We drove 10 minutes east to Playa Nuevo (Vega Baja) for swimming in crystal clear waters with no undertow. We bought groceries at the local store a mile away and used the kitchen, which had all the necessities for cooking. Water pressure and ample hot water for showering. Very comfortable beds and AC for a good night’s sleep. TVs and WiFi worked well. We loved having a private balcony and patio area with beautiful views of the ocean. We will definitely be returning in the future!

There is nothing wrong with this property per se, but it was not right for my family. The positives - right on the beach, nice view. Negatives - the overall complex is a bit run down and dated. Also, the complex was a bit deserted so lots of privacy, but maybe too isolated for us (may be it was the time of year). We ended up moving to a different property closer to the airport with more people and activities.
