About this apartment rental
This apartment is very unique and spacious! Its one of a kind layout and the local location makes this a great apartment for really living in Barcelona like a local.
The apartment is set up so that it goes in a big circle. You enter into the apartment and to the right, you have the first guest bedroom which is duplex style. We advertise the apartment as a 3 bedroom apartment but in reality, this first guest bedroom has two bedrooms. On the bottom floor of this bedroom are two single beds and a staircase that will take you up to the second floor where there are two more single beds in an open style lofted bedroom (the beds can be made into a queen sized double). Going back into the hallway, you then have the living room area which is very comfortable and sunny. The sitting area has big windows overlooking the street and is a great nook for snuggling with a book or to watch the people pass by. The dining room area is next then with a fantastic antique dining room table. The kitchen is connected to the dining room by a door and is fully equipped.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Check-in from 15 p.m.
- Check-out before 11 a.m.
- The apartment is a non-smoking apartment.
- Parties in the apartment are not allowed.
- Additional charges:
- Barcelona city tax 10,45€ per person per night (max 7 nights)
- Late check-in fee of 30€ after 21h and 60€ after midnight.
- A 500€ security deposit will be charged at the check in, as a guarantee, and refunded at check-out
- The guest agrees to respect the residents of neighbouring apartments and to avoid causing excessive noise at any point of the day. If the above conditions are not fulfill it may result in an immediate eviction from the apartment.
- If there is any kind of infraction related to noise after the 10 PM it could result in, not only, an intervention from Roomonitor, but also in a penalty of 500€.

The overall apartment was great in many ways. The large windows, looking out into the street, were marvelous. The location was also great & the neighborhood was very quiet. The unfortunate sticking point for us were the bathrooms. They were not described, nor depicted, having a glazed glass wall that separated the two shower areas. This allows people to see the silhouette of those showering. Unfortunately, while we were there, one of the showers did not drain fully, whenever used. The management company was able to get it usable with a slow drain, but it would have to be fully fixed after we left. The location managers were attentive & responsive to whenever we reached out to them, they just could not fix those 2 issues.

There is so much to say about the apartment on Carre Valencia it's hard to know where to start. Yes, we loved it and were impressed as soon as we walked in the door. My family of nine expressed amazement as we walked down the hallways into three bedrooms that fit our family prerfectly. My husband and I had the large bedroom with our own private bathroom, which was eventually shared when needed. The other two bedrooms fit each family wonderfully. The kitchen was complete. We could have used another knife for the preparation of our Christmas dinner, so we bought one. The dinning room table fit our family of nine for dinner and for playing games in the evenings. The living room was spacious for reading or talking in the evenings, and there was a lovely small porch where my husband would sit in the mornings to drink his coffee and read a book, overlooking the street. We were only an 8 minute walk to the Sagrada Familia and it was easy to get around the city either by the ubiquitous taxis, we never spent much over $10 for a ride, and the metro was easy to use as well. We also often walked the streets and felt safe. There were neighborhood coffee shops around the corner and delightful shops where we spent some money. It was hard to walk out the door knowing we were going to leave this beautiful place and city. Maria and Santi were wonderful to work with, they were on top of every request that we had. On the last day my granddaughter left her purse in the car we took to the airport and through several phone calls they found it and brought it back to the airport. We were impressed and pleased. I would rent this apartment again in a heartbeat, and will recommend it to others. Our vacation in Barcelona was "magical" and our apartment on Valencia helped contribute to that.
