About this house rental

The two bedroom/one bathroom “Kaleido House” is the largest unit in the Zilker Vacations family. It features by far the most original art and colorful decor to go along with the spacious tall ceilings.

The Kaleido House is located just .44 miles to Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool, the perfect location to enjoy everything that Austin has to offer. There is easy walking access to many of Austin’s famous restaurants as well as the outdoor paradise that is Zilker Park. Take a dip in the 68 degree waters of Barton Springs after enjoying a hike through the Barton Creek Greenbelt or a stroll around Lady Bird Lake. After a day outdoors, you’re only a short way back!

The vaulted beamed knotty pine wood ceilings make the over 1000 square feet seem even bigger. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle cooking big meals, and the Whole Foods world headquarters and Trader Joe's is approx 2 miles away. Several smaller convenience stores are blocks away.

There is a king bed with Temperpedic mattress in the master bedroom and two XL twins in the second bedroom, which can be made up as a king upon request.

Other amenities include: fresh coffee (organic local Ruta Maya) and tea fixings, washer/dryer and detergent, bath and beach towels, and a Britta water filter to keep fresh water in the refrigerator. There is a gas grill on the deck and tools and grate covers in the kitchen.

The Kaledio house was perfect for our family! The unit was incredibly well-equipped and Cynthia & Peach were wonderfully communicative and accommodating. They provided so many extras - beach towels, sunscreen, coffee, books, toys, games, toddler bed rail, toiletries, and more. They clearly put a lot of thought into making their home a comfortable place to stay. The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved being so close to Zilker Park, Barton Springs, Peter Pan Mini Golf, and Butler Park.

We stayed three nights over Thanksgiving. Fabulous VRBO, definitely one of our favorites and we hope to stay again. Great beds, everything looked new and VERY clean, all the supplies we needed so made it so much more easier to make a dinner. Great shower. Deck was nice to sit on, very peaceful. We had a great weekend getaway as a family at the Kaleido House! It was very clean and comfortable and decorated very nicely. We have stayed in many rental properties and I believe this was one of the best we have experienced. Beds were very comfortable and the hosts were very responsive to questions. There were extra amenities provided and suggestions on what to do while we were in town which we appreciated! Can't beat the location right next to Barton Springs and beautiful Zilker Park!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was comfortable and well appointed. The managers were very easy to communicate with and more than obliging if we needed anything. Great to know you can bring your toddler and dog and have that be easy for everyone. It's a lovely area, close to the park and Barton Springs and also nice to just walk around the neighborhood. Nice little spot. Funky decor made it fun. Barton springs is pretty cool. Nice water in 100+ degrees!! Only thing I would say is put some curtains on the bedroom sliding glass door. The neighbors lights kinda bothered me at night. And the blinds inside the glass didn’t cut it for me. Everything else was perfect for my family. Owners provided everything we needed. Thank you!
