About this house rental
The two bedroom/one bathroom “Kaleido House” is the largest unit in the Zilker Vacations family. It features by far the most original art and colorful decor to go along with the spacious tall ceilings.
The Kaleido House is located just .44 miles to Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool, the perfect location to enjoy everything that Austin has to offer. There is easy walking access to many of Austin’s famous restaurants as well as the outdoor paradise that is Zilker Park. Take a dip in the 68 degree waters of Barton Springs after enjoying a hike through the Barton Creek Greenbelt or a stroll around Lady Bird Lake. After a day outdoors, you’re only a short way back!
The vaulted beamed knotty pine wood ceilings make the over 1000 square feet seem even bigger. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle cooking big meals, and the Whole Foods world headquarters and Trader Joe's is approx 2 miles away. Several smaller convenience stores are blocks away.
There is a king bed with Temperpedic mattress in the master bedroom and two XL twins in the second bedroom, which can be made up as a king upon request.
Other amenities include: fresh coffee (organic local Ruta Maya) and tea fixings, washer/dryer and detergent, bath and beach towels, and a Britta water filter to keep fresh water in the refrigerator. There is a gas grill on the deck and tools and grate covers in the kitchen.

We had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, easy instructions for check-in and check-out, the house was super clean, and we had excellent communication from our host. All in all we had a great time and would stay here again.

Absolutely loved this place!! it was perfect So close to everything! Beautifully decorated with custom designer furniture. The owners were absolutely so kind and gracious. They helped us with anything we needed and got back to us immediately if we had any questions.Thank you so much for opening your lovely home. It was just everything we could’ve wanted.!!

The Kaleidoscope House was just perfect for our four night visit. We so appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and extras that made our stay feel like home. The kitchen was well outfitted and even had spices in the pantry. Normally there isn’t even salt and pepper. Although we didn’t use the grill, there is a very nice setup on the deck with a table and chairs. It wasn’t swimming season, but beach towels were provided. Having a washer and dryer is great too. The area is quiet and parking on site makes it very convenient. It is very close to Zilker Park and all of the great restaurants on Congress, Lamar and South First. Thank you to our hosts who made our stay so perfect.
