Enjoy this spacious, ranch style, 6 bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood, located northeast of downtown Colorado Springs. The home has new hardwood floors in kitchen and living room, new granite counter top in kitchen, and updated furniture throughout. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, including master suite, full guest bath, large living room, dining room, and eat-in kitchen. The lower level has 2 private bedrooms, a semi-private bedroom, bathroom, lounge and play area, laundry facilities and a sleeper couch. There is a private backyard with patio, fire pit, gas grill and a two car attached garage. High speed Wifi (150 mbs) & Cable TV provided in living room, master bedroom, and lower level. NO PETS, NO SMOKING.
Located just 3/4 mile from Cottonwood Creek Park and Recreation Center. The park is a 77 acre award winning community park providing picnic tables, slides and swings playground, snow sledding, four soccer fields, three softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, in-line hockey court, disc golf course, and walking/running paths. The recreation center is a YMCA facility with an indoor pool and fitness center, and is available to the public on a pay-per-day basis.
Perfect for Air Force Academy graduation and events, it is just 12 minutes from the South Gate entrance off I-25.
The home is centrally located so that going north, south, or west you are only 20-30 minutes away from so much that Colorado Springs has to offer: Garden of the Gods Park, Old Colorado City, Flying W Ranch, Rockledge Ranch, Air Force Academy, 4 additional bases incl. Peterson Air Force Base, The Broadmoor Hotel, Seven Falls, Manitou Springs, Fort Carson, Pikes Peak and Cog Railway, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
Grocers, shopping, and restaurants are only a few minutes away. 10 minutes to UCCS.
30 minutes to Colorado Springs Airport, 90 minutes to Denver International.

The location was excellent. The house was clean and comfortable. It was, however, very difficult to communicate with the host. We messaged through the VRBO app, and only received what seemed to be automatically sent messages after our initial communication. It wasn’t a huge deal, but we did have a question about the TVs that was never answered (though I asked twice). We enjoyed our stay, but we noticed a few updates to information about the house that probably need to be made in either the description or the house manual. One is about the TVs. There are three TVs and only one Roku remote. We didn’t really use the TVs, but that might matter to others. The handbook says that all three TVs used Roku. We don’t use Roku, so if a remote is not needed, we couldn’t figure it out. That was the question we asked the first day we arrived, and it wasn’t never answered.Second, the description of the grill in the handbook is not accurate to the grill that is there. We used the grill, and it worked fine, but the info provided did not match our experience. Finally, the parking probably needs to include mention that there is really not room for two vehicles in the garage. There are things currently stored in the garage that make it pretty unrealistic to think two vehicles might fit. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time in the area. Our 13-year-old grandson really enjoyed all the Pokemon events at the nearby park.

Very cozy and comfortable environment for our family of eight. Plenty of room for everyone and yet a very comfortable gathering area. We really enjoyed our stay!
