Black Bear Cozy Cabin is a 2 bedroom 1 bath rancher 1/2 a block from Lake Harmony. It is dog friendly so you don’t have to leave your beloved pet at home. Imagine enjoying your morning coffee on this quiet street while enjoying the deer strolling by from the large decks. You will enjoy plenty of parking and an easy stroll down to the lake. Your stroll will take you to the public kayak boat launch/ swimming / fishing area of Lake Harmony. Bring our provided kayaks, your fishing poles and provided tubes and enjoy the water. We are sure you will enjoy being within walking distance to all the restaurants and Split Rock Resort. Nicks Lake House, Shenanigans, Piggies, and Terra Cottage are maybe 3 tenths of a mile up the road to your right. This Ranch features hard wood floors throughout and a cozy cabin decor. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with a queen and 1 set of bunk beds for all your other guests. The living room features a stone fireplace and a 52 inch ROKU TV. The living room is open to the eat in kitchen area allowing a great flow for your visit. Total sleep space is 6. There is an air conditioning for hot summer days and forced hot air heat for the winter. This cozy cabin is perfect for seasonal, weekly or just weekend renting. Discounts apply the longer you stay. If you like skiing or snow boarding, you will enjoy Big boulder Ski resort just a mile away and Jack Frost Ski Resort just 2 miles away. If you are a Race Fan, The tricky triangle track is about 10 minutes away. We provide kayaks, one double and two children kayaks. The back deck and yard boasts a gas grill and a fire pit for your enjoyment. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, There is always something going on between Lake Harmony and Split Rock Resort. Wine Fest, Cigar Fest, Ski Season, Summer Lake fun and hiking. If you want to swim, I recommend Hickory Run State Park’s beach just 10 miles away. We love live music so Penns Peak is one of our favorite venues. Check out which bands are in the area during your stay. If you want a great place to go for New Years Eve, this is the spot. Memories await you at this lovely perfectly located home. Rent the whole ski season or just a weekend. All the fun just a few blocks from your front door. Enjoy!

This home was very clean and had everything we could have needed. So cozy inside and out! The firepit out back and the fireplace inside added to the cozy cabin ambiance. We could see the lake from the living room, and the neighborhood deer kept us company all weekend. A real highlight of our weekend!We were about 25 minutes from Jim Thorpe, 10 minutes from Hickory Run State Park and about 30 minutes from Lehigh Gorge state park. Lots of restaurants close by. We had a blast, thank you, and we hope to come visit again!

My wife and I visited for wedding anniversary and brought our dog. It was a very nice weekend! Hosts are welcoming and the place is great. Right by the lake.
