Being able to stand in the Gite and lean out the window right into the Main Street of Riquewihr was something out of a fairy tale. The room is very nice, well equipped, beds were comfortable. There is a very steep interior staircase leading up to the second floor, for which I had to keep a close eye on my toddler but the keypad access was very convenient and like I said the location is unbeatable. Being able to be out in the village and dawn and dusk was really nice and you can avoid a lot of crowds, plus you get to feel like a local.

Cottage "the Jewel" is truly a jewel in Riquewihr! Fédéric responded to my questions before our visit within a few hours and his wife Florence met us when we arrived. The apartment is located on the main street with wonderful views of the street and the vines on the slopes above. The bedroom has two beds, the bathroom is big with a good shower, a washing machine and even an iron! Although we didn't use the kitchen, it was well stocked. Riquewihr is ideally located on the route des vins and it's loaded with charm. There are many restaurants and each of our meals was excellent. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Riquewihr! Note that there are about 20 steps up to the apartment, so it's not suited for people with mobility issues. Thank you, Fédéric and Florence for a wonderful three days!

My husband and I enjoyed 9 nights in this beautiful apartment. All was as stated; Frederic and Florence took care of all details, such as parking pass, linens and bike rentals, before our late hour arrival. They were available to answer any and all questions and could not have been friendlier. The apartment was perfect for two people and had all necessary equipment/tools in the kitchen. The beds were also quite comfortable for good rest. We would certainly return to this apartment without hesitation.

We've had a very enjoyable stay in this tidy and comfortable apartment. At arrival we received a warm welcome (including a bottle of cooled white wine) and got ample information on how to find our way in the area. Very friendly owners. Good communication, also prior to our arrival. The location is awesome: smack bang in the middle of the Riquewihr main street. Thank you so much, it has been great.
