Being able to stand in the Gite and lean out the window right into the Main Street of Riquewihr was something out of a fairy tale. The room is very nice, well equipped, beds were comfortable. There is a very steep interior staircase leading up to the second floor, for which I had to keep a close eye on my toddler but the keypad access was very convenient and like I said the location is unbeatable. Being able to be out in the village and dawn and dusk was really nice and you can avoid a lot of crowds, plus you get to feel like a local.

Frederic was a superb host and was there to meet us when we arrived. The apartment is very spacious and the beds comfortable-bathroom excellent too - our only quibble was that it is really hot at night and we feel it needs a fan of some sort - we left the windows open which isnt ideal - Sorry to moan because overall we loved it.
