We spent a wonderful week: The house was charming, well designed, comfortable and clean. The sound of the ocean was a contant companion to beautiful views of mountains and sea, and startling star filled skies. The location was great — a short drive for dinner, a short walk to a sandy beach, close enough for daily excursions to mountains and other towns and beaches. Our hosts — Michele and Florence— were nothing short of perfect — warm, generous and helpful. All in all, it was a great place to explore and relax. I would love to be able to come back again.

My husband, I, and a friend stayed in Michel and Flo's Demonceaux's charming Stone Shepard's house end of August 2017. The house and the added guest room are decorated with taste and simplicity. The surrounding grounds have beautiful Wild Olive trees with a view of the Sea in the far distance. Michel and Flo are perfect hosts furnishing anything that one may need. The house is only 10 minutes from the Cargese or Sagone area for food shopping etc. The beach in front of the Rental house is savage and perfect.The only issue for us was the intense heat wave gripping Europe that week. The AC did not work that well ( I do not like AC but it was very hot in the top room)but Michel said he will replace the Two Air Conditioner after the 2017 season. Also the WIFI is pretty weak but for my hsuband he was able to connect to his 3G telephone ( of course, he was working!) The house has stairs that are very steep and probably not best suited for those who are too young or have disabilities. The best feature was the outdoor shower surrounded by the Wild olive trees! One may need a day or two to really relax and let nature be your guide. Michel and Flo Demonceaux's Stone house is really a world away from one's stressful city life. Don't hestitate, go and experience it for yourself!
